Thankfully, I live in the mountains and am a junior level prepper, with enough food for five years. Water is a different story, and will require a massive hike. I feel for anyone who lives in suburbs just outside the circumference of 10MT nuke. The panic and chaos and violence will be unimaginable. Last week, when Facebook went down, my power went down a half hour later. I thought that was it per finally getting nailed on a cyber attack. Turns out, I was in a small outage, but it quickly made my mind race to what I DIDN’T yet have preps for.
*How prepared am I to take care of my family?”*
Don’t have one. Just think of those that do and will need your help.
Something preppers should keep is sprouting seeds. They take up little storage space, you can freeze them for longevity, they sprout in a few days, are very nutritious when you can’t get vegetables. All you need is clean water to make them grow.
Bluetti solar generator, cost a bit, but if you get the big batteries, more then one it could solve most of your problems. Cost me 5000 $ a year ago. Solar charging panel was separate at the time. Good luck.
