Jessie Thompson, a 36-year-old mother of two in Chicago, is reminded of the Covid-19 pandemic every day.
Sometimes it happens when she picks up her children from day care and then lets them romp around at a neighborhood park on the way home. Other times, it’s when she gets out the shower at 7 a.m. after a weekday workout.
“I always think: In my past life, I’d have to be on the train in 15 minutes,” said Ms. Thompson, a manager at United Airlines.
A hybrid work schedule has replaced her daily commute to the company headquarters in downtown Chicago, giving Ms. Thompson more time with her children and a deeper connection to her neighbors. “The pandemic is such a negative memory,” she said. “But I have this bright spot of goodness fro

It also paid lots of government workers.....not to work or even to show up for work. This brought about a huge culture shift among public employee, many of whom feel being paid for no work is an entitlement.
For others, it taught us that crowed offices, lunch rooms, and lack of proper air changes and filtering were an office health hazard.
If caused the firing of or forced early retirement of those who would not drink the Kool-aid of mandatory vaccinations to prevent the spread of Covid, even though it was proven that being vaccinated did little to stop the spread of the disease.
The shutting down of classrooms destroyed years of educational learning among our youth.
It divided people into socially privileged groups: medical professional, first responders, grocery store workers, government employees, education workers, utility workers, peasants. These groups had status and demanded hazard pay and perks for showing up to work.
It provided stimulus pay for doing nothing.
It destroyed or work ethic and culture.
In a nutshell, indeed.
The Leftists -- Democrats and RINOs included -- want us to be "nudged" and "messaged" and 'influenced" into their idiotic version of Communism, next edition, 'new and improved', and camouflaged with another velvet glove to hide their iron-fisted will to rule.
I radicalized me. We saw the malignancy of the wealthy and the elites and now I’m to the left of Bernie Sanders on tax policy.

It’s a definite Covid classic.
And on TP and paper towels, prepper me had a 4-6 month supply on hand. I was never sweating paper product availablity.
I would love to see tribunals and executions of the “public health” officials, business execs, lockdown politicians and wealthy elites who inflicted all of this and I would have no moral or ethical conflicts with perpetrating a holocaust upon them.
It radicalized me farther to the right..well not really, I was already right. It embittered me to the right.
I was an easier going, happy conservative. Now I’m a bitter one. FB had a lot to do with it and CL, I was temporarily banned by FB and permanently (to this day) banned on CL. My crimes? Dissented on the wet market theory and complained about the election. On CL a little more as I started calling them every vile name I could think of when a leftist would FIRST start cursing me. Yet I was banned, they were not. COVID made me realize we are in a war. Pinko Commies and almost all the media including social media (or whatever weird equivalent they are now) versus real America.
When I look back on pre-COVID FB posts they are all about sports, weather, puppies, what I did and a few political. Not any more buddy, not anymore as it’s all scum leftists like Biden, Suckerberg and the list goes on and what they are doing to us.

sorry to hear that- The sickest part is it was over a lie- states that didn’t shut down or require shots fared better than those that did-
IF there were any justice, the lies about covid woudl be exposed, and people compensated for having had their lives ruined for no reason whatsoever!
