The Biden administration scrambled behind the scenes to prepare for the imminent possibility that Russia would use tactical nuclear weapons in Ukraine, a shocking new report revealed.
In 2022, the CIA warned President Biden of a 50% change or higher that Russia would reach for its nuclear arsenal if it found its forces were decimated and the illegally annexed territory of Crimea was at risk, according to the New York Times.
Those reports caused Biden to deliver his famous “Armageddon” speech at an Oct. 6, 2022, fundraiser in New York City, in which he warned, “We have not faced the prospect of Armageddon since Kennedy and the Cuban Missile Crisis.”

I must admit I have had fears of a catastrophically stupid NATO Inchon invasion of Crimea. Good God in Heaven, let this be only the feverish deliriums of a terrified man.
The CIA destablized Ukraine. The CIA had ‘whistleblowers’ try to destroy Donald Trump because he asked questions about the new government and kickbacks to US politicians. The CIA WAS running biolabs in Ukraine. The CIA sponsored the overthrow of the pro-Russian Government in 2014 under Obama. Now, the CIA believes that there is a 50% chance of a Global Thermal Nuclear war because of these actions.....
Crimea is almost completely cut off from Russia. The bridge is now down to traffic. The Black Sea Navy has suffered severe casualties. Shipping of food, arms, and equipment to Crimea is limited, and likely going to get worse. The Ukranians main target may have always been to isolate and take Crimea first, creating themselves a single front war with decreased line length and forcing Putin to commit to the only military strategy that has worked, human wave attacks.
I fear your fears about Crimea may be justified.
A futile attempt to make it look like Biden is the man at the helm, facing nuclear threats and all. Of course since it’s CIA we have no idea what the really is.

My first guess is that polling is showing that supporting Ukraine is no longer popular. Thus it needs to be seen as "wise" to quit supporting Ukraine during an election year.
50% huh? Yes or no. That’s a 50% chance. Very intelligent assessment.
Sarcasm aside, if they think there is a 50% or greater chance, shouldn’t we try to talk them off the ledge? Biden’s “Armageddon ” rhetoric isn’t helpful. It will only further isolate them and runs the risk of playing into their hands. If they think we think they will use nukes, then they just need to Sabre rattle. Which they are doing recently where the former Russian President has warned recently that they would use nukes if certain red lines were crossed.

Exactamundo. Some people may read this as "it's pretty likely that they are nuking Ukraine", but in reality this is a way of saying "we have 0% certainty about this prediction".

You can never predict how someone might react, especially when they are desperate, angry and a bit crazy.
It’s crazy to create such a situation.
It appears the only assessment they ignored is the one from Putin himself where he explained he'd use nukes only if attacked.
