The principal is most likely black. Mealy mouthed pronouncements, when crimes have happened by blacks, are often released by black principals.

Society may be learning it’s like the kids who have to sit at the kids’ table for large holiday dinners with relatives. If they behave themselves and grow up a little they can sit at the adult table.

The interim principal for hazelwood East high school is Elizabeth Havey

Elizabeth Havey has served a total of 32 years as an educator. She began her career in Maplewood serving 8 years, and then she transitioned to Riverview Gardens, also completing 10 years of service. She joined the Hazelwood School District in 2009, having served as an assistant principal at Central High, Southeast Middle, and East High. Ms. Havey then moved into the associate principal's position at East for four years. Ms. Havey will serve as Interim Principal for the 2023-24 school year. She holds dual masters degrees in Education and Educational Administration and a specialist degree in Educational Administration from Lindenwood University.
