Farmers have gathered in Rimouski, Quebec to voice their concerns in the days leading up to the province’s next budget announcement.
Several hundred farmers from Bas-Saint-Laurent and Gaspésie region travelled to Rimouski to participate in the demonstration by the Federation of the Union of Agricultural Producers (UPA) of Bas-Saint-Laurent.
Dozens of tractors and trailers joined together in a convoy.

Everyone knows that food comes from the supermarket.
Then the farmers should stop sending food there.
Sell it locally to their friends, family, and neighbors. They’ll end up making more money that way besides.
Quit voting for Trudeau and his filth.
Only a small number in his district vote for Trudeau. Nationwide direct voting is not how it works up there.
Huge carrot farms, greenhouse tomatoes, etc.
If you drive north of the border in Quebec, you go by massive farms throughout the Eastern Provinces.

After how successful the Freedom Convoy was, why not? By the way, the Quebec farmers are a powerful group... particularly the dairy farmers.

Actually I am a 7th generation Vermonter, now a refugee in NH, hoping NH remains as much as possible the same as it has been.
I am also a 14th generation New Hampshireite though.
We are escapees from NY, but not the city. Upstate.
But we love the state and freedom so far, and we did NOT bring NYS style (which really is NYC democrat not Upstate) politics with us so are voting accordingly. It’s hard though as many of the local politics in the Upper Valley tend to run very liberal.
Yeah, I think tbey wind up with coalitions that pick the PM...like Europe.

I keep hearing everyone loathes Trudeau...especially in the western provinces...but yet he remains in power.
