I take it, it could easily be tuned to recognize and attack people by race?
Grew up on Terminator 2, never thought it’d be a reality. Swarms of killer drones patrolling the battlefield isn’t the future, it’s now. Enhanced with AI (doesn’t sound complicated at this point), basically a launch and forget feature and counter actions, probably drives warfare for the rest of the century... well, and nukes.
Our future is “bright”.
How are you?
Been busier than a three peckered goat so haven’t been on here much the last several months. Counting down the moments here until I can make my first cast on a river. How are things out your way?
Need a directional EMP gun

The original slaughterbots video...
Philly burbs suck as always. Things have been low stress though.
Enjoying volleyball, training, and reading.
I also look forward to better weather.
There was a Star Trek episode that addressed this issue of a giant computer controlling drones that were built as weapons, but which were no longer under the control of the humans that built them. I think it was the original series.
Had a Flu b outbreak at our gym, I got it... 3 weeks to get over it!
What’s on your reading list? Been on an Elvis kick and just finished up Last Train to Memphis... not bad!
Can you stage a container of drones close enough to land-based ICBM launch sites to punctute the skin of a missle in early boost phase, making it non aerodynamic, to the point it is no longer mission capable?
Subs are immune since the ocean is too large to have coverage, bombers fly too high and too fast.
Russian hypersonics are probably immune.
That sucks about the flu. I’ve been lucky over a decade.
I just finished up Children of Dune, Book of the Dead, The Prophet, and a 1946 textbook on critical Thinking.(I figured older was better as “they” don’t encourage critical thought nowadays)
Up next is some weird, supposed history on secret doctrine.
It’s called The Secret Doctrine: The Synthesis on Science, Religion, and Philosophy.
I expect some serious, old school tinfoil.
It’s around 1400 pages...

Possibly, but unlikely. Of course, for now, it would have to be a FPV ‘suicide’ drone flown by a person. It would always have to be launched by hand so there’d have to be assets on the ground. Nuke security wasn’t my thing, so I don’t know what’s in place around launch silos, but I would assume it’s substantial and includes counter-drone capabilities.

I’ve read The Prophet (Gibran’s?). I’ll give the other titles a glance.
"No, no, no! It's only to kill terrorists? But if you are not with us, you are with the terrorists..."
Gilbran is correct. I liked it. Sort of a quick poem/philosophy story.
Same! Been probably a decade or more, need to pull it down again. Need a break from my constant diet of CW, WW2, Cosa Nostra, etc. books.
You have to throw something positive in there for balance.
The world is shit enough...
Star Trek: That Which Survives
Beautiful robot set for individual target.
