Shocking body camera footage showed at least eight officers dressed in tactical gear and carrying automatic rifles jumping out of an armored vehicle and approaching Johnson, who was just wearing a black bathrobe and a bonnet, the following day.

They then proceeded to use a battering ram to get into Johnson’s garage even though she explained to them how to open the door, and broke ceiling tiles to get into her attic — standing on top of one of her brand-new dining room chairs, according to a lawsuit Johnson filed in December 2022.

I keep telling my wife that it’s all dependent upon what cell towers the signal from the phone is pinging on and that the radius of three towers intersecting at that signal strength determines the location, but she thinks someone is ‘hacking’ her phone..............

These days Andy Grove's quote is more accurate than ever: "Only the paranoid survive"

I apparently live near the Tennessee/Georgia line which is miles from my home. When searching the Lowe’s website for an item, the return will say “closest store to you” and give me a location 150 miles from my home. Yeah, these locator apps are extremely inaccurate.

Even if the cops had the correct home, the level of force and destruction was way out of line. For a cell-phone?

Every single cop on this detail should face the same charges I would face if I had done this to this woman. Breaking and entering, assault, threatening, destruction of property etc. charges should be brought to each snd every cop.

Suppose they shot and killed her?

Take a gander at what charges would be filed if a few guys robbed a 7/11 and one shot and killed the clerk?

Murder for every one involved, including the getaway driver who never even left the car.

Sauce for the goose...

End qualified immunity, require a bond for each police officer, just like a plumber, or electrician, or any other professional and when the bond becomes too expensive, that bad cop goes away. Game over.

Excellent idea!

That’s funny...lawyers had no interest in taking our case after my wife and I were mistakenly swatted years ago. Oh, wait...we’re white. Never mind.
