JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israel will push on with its offensive against Hamas, including into the southern Gaza city of Rafah, despite growing international pressure to stop, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday.
Netanyahu has vowed to destroy Hamas after its fighters attacked southern Israel on Oct. 7, killing 1,200 people and abducting 253, according to Israeli tallies. More than 30,000 people have been killed in Gaza during Israel's subsequent offensive, Palestinian health authorities estimate, prompting worldwide criticism and condemnation.
"There is international pressure and it's growing, but particularly when the international pressure rises, we must close ranks, we need to stand together against the attempts to stop the war," he said. About 1.5 million people are estimated to be crammed into Rafah, on the southernmost fringe of the enclave close to the border with Egypt, most of them having fled their homes further north to escape Israel's military onslaught.

Finish the job.
Kill them all.
It’s the only way.

Leave no remnant to breed.
Biden doesn’t really give a sh&t about the Gazans. He just wants to make sure the moslems in Michigan and Minnesota don’t stay home on election day. He will issue a routine denunciation soon enough, but probably after his next long weekend off in delaware.
Rafah is the last place Hamas has to withdraw to so most of the Hamas are hiding there in tunnels.
Rafah is the location of the Hamas last stand. If the IDF can clean out Rafah they will have taken out most of the Hamas infrastructure and fighters
Now is the time to do it because Hamas is demoralized, depleted and disorganized. They are losing their terror grip that they use to control the Gaza population and the people are turning against Hamas. .
It's command structure is mostly dead and the remaining leadership is not communicating with the troops on the ground and with each other.
The IDF needs to end this ASAP.
Israel should create safe areas in territory it holds and ask women and children to move into one and unarmed men who wish to avoid getting killed into another.
This will make it easier for the IDF to operate as well as saving the lives of all concerned.
If Palestinians want to risk getting killed it should be on them.
“..probably after his next long weekend off in delaware...”
They probably flew the drugged-up cadaver there last night in order to revive it. The zombie won’t be seen till sometime next week. /s
I hope it POs winkin and nod as well. Sometimes I wonder, inept or part of the plan.
Biden talked about building a pier/port facility so humanitarian aid could reach Gaza.
I think it’s safe to say that any aid delivered would primarily end up in the hands of Hamas. Biden said there’d be no boots on the ground. That essentially means there’s no control over the distribution of the aid.
I haven’t heard Marine 1.
Is anyone tracking casualties other than “ Palestinian Health Authorities” ?
“..I haven’t heard Marine 1....”
They may have some kind of a frankenstein lab in the basement of the hut in case the cadaver goes too far past drug recovery. /s...LOL.
The IDF needs to try to isolate groups holding hostages so the groups can easily be identified if something worse happens to the hostages, such as getting murdered. Groups might simply tie up the hostages and move away from them since simply being identified by the IDF as a fighter will mean less confinement time than being caught as a hostage holder, brutalizer or killer.
Asking Palestinians who don’t wish to fight or get killed to move into safe areas will facilitate the IDF’s job.
Ramadan starts on Sunday. Wouldn’t it be interesting if Netanyahu chose that day to start his Rafah Offensive, since the arabs chose Simchat Torah (The finishing of the reading of Torah) to perpetrate their slaughter.
“any aid delivered would primarily end up in the hands of Hamas”
HAMAS is a bunch of pigs, but they can only eat so much per day.
Netanyahu doesn’t believe in ‘endless wars’ like our Pentagon... Netanyahu wants a war over quickly and not to start again any time soon.
There are probably very few hostages that can be released. Many are probably dead already and more than a few of those still alive will be killed by their captors to cover up for the crimes committed by those holding them.
Bibi needs to get even more aggressive.
