JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israel will push on with its offensive against Hamas, including into the southern Gaza city of Rafah, despite growing international pressure to stop, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday.
Netanyahu has vowed to destroy Hamas after its fighters attacked southern Israel on Oct. 7, killing 1,200 people and abducting 253, according to Israeli tallies. More than 30,000 people have been killed in Gaza during Israel's subsequent offensive, Palestinian health authorities estimate, prompting worldwide criticism and condemnation.
"There is international pressure and it's growing, but particularly when the international pressure rises, we must close ranks, we need to stand together against the attempts to stop the war," he said. About 1.5 million people are estimated to be crammed into Rafah, on the southernmost fringe of the enclave close to the border with Egypt, most of them having fled their homes further north to escape Israel's military onslaught.

There is nothing holy about HAMAS.
Good!
I stand with Bibi and Israel.
Cut the head off the damned snake.
OOOH!! To have been bug on a wall watching the Dr. Feelgood Team revivifying the traitorous zombie.
Netanyahu will continue the war until Hamas is obliterated. It will also be the last major action of his career. This terrorist attack and war has been a disaster for Israel. They have lost hundreds of young people killed in the attack and then as casualties in the fighting. Netanyahu will bear the blame for the intelligence failures that allowed the border penetration and the fact that Iran managed to transport large numbers of missiles and weapons though Egypt into Gaza without detection. He will lose the next election and be deposed. He will also retire tormented that for whatever reason the Iranian mullah regime, Israel’s greatest existential threat, still survives.
If HAMAS fighters can be identified as not being war criminals, then they might be engaged by the IDF to search and round up hostages in return for not being placed in a POW camp.
“Netanyahu doesn’t believe in ‘endless wars’ like our Pentagon... Netanyahu wants a war over quickly and not to start again any time soon.”
Meaning he will fight tooth and nail and to the death to keep Biden from installing the insane deepwater Hamas harbor.
“Netanyahu will continue the war until Hamas is obliterated.”
The hate runs throughout the people of Gaza who are more than about five years old.
The US Army made German civilians face up to Nazi atrocities.
South Africa had truth and reconciliation sessions.
“port”
The Gazans must have fishing boats and docks for them.
Food might be placed in garbage bags and the food-filled garbage bags would float.
The Gazan fishermen could fish them out of the water.
Good for Israel.
Biden trying to buy Michigan and Minnesota Palistian votes with our money
Time to finish the job. No one but Iran objects.
I love it!
“Leave no remnant to breed.”
Too late. They have already reproduced... which is why there is so much evil in the world today.
“No one but Iran objects.”
Actually the vast majority of the world objects to Israel’s slaughtering civilians especially women & children. Netanyahu has made Israel a pariah state and it’s not looking good for them going forward. This war is about to go regional and the end result of that will not be to Israel’s liking. Netanyahu is making a huge mistake.
No one is supporting Hamas.
Few support Hamas but few support Israel’s actions either. It’s only here on FR that you see such support. Elsewhere Israel has become an international pariah and US support for them has made us complicit in their genocide complicating our own international relationships.
Except whackjob american leftist weirdos and militant palestinian butt-wipe budding terrorists that should have never been allowed into the US for any reasons whatsoever
