“Donald Trump, whose 2017 ‘Tax Cuts and Jobs Act’ slashed taxes on companies and the wealthy.”

Those “tax cuts” for my business had me paying more in taxes than ever before. Because my business had expanded more than ever. Everything is total crap in Biden’s America.

Problem with this thinking is we the middle class will get it regardless...The Wealthy will pay no taxes...

I’m in favor of this. Tax the hell out of them. Change the tax code so investment income is taxed the same as salaried income and get rid of the carried interest deduction. I’m 100% in favor of taxing the hell out of the wealthy. If they want socialism, give it to them good and hard.

part of a proposed 2025 budget to be released next week, and aimed at reducing the federal deficit by $3 trillion over 10 years. * "aimed at raising $3 trillion for Ukaine"

investment income is company after-tax pr9fit. Salaried income is pre-tax.

Because they borrow trillions of dollars each year, they don’t really need to raise taxes, they can just keep on borrowing. What the higher taxes are really about is punishment and control over the wealthy people in America. As it turns out, that what the tax code is mostly about anyway- having control and authority over the people.

I believe even the Dems know that a federal wealth tax is unconstitutional.

He isn’t going to do anything to those super rich people, They are his friends and comrades.

Sounds like he is going to try and buy the votes by promising the moon which he will never deliver. But it sounds good to the dummies who will believe him.

He is going to play class warfare tonight.

LET’S SEE——— Debt rising a $ Trillion every 3 month=== $ Trillion a year===and JOE wants to get DEBT DOWN $3 Trillion in 10 years.....

They're not talking about cutting debt, which is actual savings, they are talking about the deficit. That's a fictional number that can be easily manipulated. Lets say they project the 10 year deficit to be $20 trillion (or $2 trillion per year). If they only have a $17 trillion deficit, they will say they've saved $3 trillion. In reality, they will have added $17 trillion to the debt. See how it works?

It's the same math I learned selling cars. Make the first selling price really high, offer what looks like a big discount, and the people who don't understand math think they're getting a good deal!

Which is why I’m in favor of employing it against them. Wouldn’t it be fun to see Zuckerberg perp walked for not paying taxes?

It won't matter if Biden raise taxes on the "rich" because they'll get their income from their "investments" like you said. They know how to game the tax code. If we are taxing investment income, then I'm all for it.

Corporations do not pay taxes, they collect taxes.

the lack of taxes isn’t the problem here...and anyone thinking or proposing otherwise is trying to kick the can down the road...which has become a dead end

Corporate income taxes are not passed along to the consumer. They are paid out of a company’s profits long after the customer has already made the purchase.

Yes, raising taxes on corporations will cause them to pass those on through higher prices on their products.

Yes, that will certainly help fight inflation! (rollin eyes)
