President Joe Biden will reportedly brag during his State of the Union address on Thursday about the alleged success of “Bidenomics,” a term coined by the Biden administration to put a bow on the president’s economic agenda.
If Biden does boast about his alleged economic success, it could come across as tone-deaf for Americans struggling to afford necessities.
As citizens suffer from prices about 20 percent higher across the board since Biden assumed office, most taxpayers believe Biden’s economic policies will cause prices to rise, a recent YouGov poll found. Only 17 percent think his policies will make prices fall.

It was a good contrast to Joe’s Hitlerimpression. Trump should just stay calm and laugh at him.

Its one thing to passionately argue for your views, your political stance. Personal attacks, name calling happens, but what these anti Trump posters were throwing at us this past year was evil. just plain vile. I have no trust for any anti Trump poster suddenly showing up supporting Trump. It doesn’t ring true. I think it’s another lie. I mean I could be wrong but cliches about big cats never changing their spots comes to mind.
Well, unlike the incoherence we were expecting, he was unnaturally hyped up. He was able to read the speech without fumbling and mumbling too much (until near the end) but was speaking unnaturally fast and angrily, almost to the point of shouting. That’s probably an effect of whatever they used to pump him up, plus his natural belligerence. He started the speech “defending democracy”, invoking J6 and how terrible and dangerous it was for our country. It had all the demagoguery of a speech by Mussolini or Hitler. The rest of the speech, he went from subject to subject, touting how great his administration has been and will continue to be - distorting the facts and outright lying all the way. Not surprisingly, the left side of the aisle cheered loudly at whatever he said.
Near the end of the speech he started to go off script a little, and even had a back and forth with some Republicans who called him out on his claim the Republicans want to cut Social Security. Finally, near the end, he started to lose focus and mumble a bit. If I were to sum up his demeanor in one word, I would say “Angry”. One other point. Superficially, he was able to get through most of the speech fairly well, his eyes were squinted the whole time just staring at the teleprompter, as if he has no real idea what he was saying but just wanted to rush the words out.
There has been some criticism of Speaker Johnson for inviting Biden to speak, but I think that criticism is misplaced. Johnson knew from his own meetings with Biden that the man would embarrass himself on national television. Johnson simply handed Biden the rope, and Biden did the hanging himself.
The DDoS attacks were real, and it took the Robinson's a very long time to bullet-proof this site from those attacks.
It's possible that we're no longer the alternative power site that we once were in the 2000s and maybe the hackers have moved on to newer sites with a more desirable demographic, but all that means is that those sites will tighten their security for the next time now that they know their vulnerabilities.
It's premature to call anything "failed" at this time.

Also I should add, during his demagoguing about J6, he made reference to “the previous president”. I don’t think he called Trump by name, but described him as a threat the nation and to democracy, although I don’t remember his exact words.
Do you still need to be seduced or have you already made up your mind? If you have already made up your mind, then why should this response have been targeted to you?
If you have not made up your mind, what are you still looking for? There are still eight months to go to win over your vote. Tonight they chose to go the "soccer mom" route.

Yes, I've been on FR for 16 years and seen it have its ups and downs. Too often down in middle of debates, etc. But that's a bit different than Truth Social that Trump put forward as his online voice. He should, as I wrote earlier, sell it for $1 to Musk, and get back on X.
And no claims or proof Truth Social was subject to DDoS attacks. Maybe just overtaxed by people wanting to watch Trump's play-by-play thread.
