I am writing as a Christian pastor — a Baptist, no less — serving churches for the past 52 years. Of course, I favor Christianity. And in my ministry, I invite persons to consider faith in Jesus Christ. Therefore, it may seem surprising that I am a leader of an effort in Kansas City during this election year to resist White Christian nationalism. White Christian nationalism does not invite people into faith, but rather seeks to dominate, control and coerce not only individuals, but society.

A Christian Nationalist believes that man is born with god-given rights. And it’s up to the government to insure these rights remain intact or uninfringed. I think when they set the country up, some guys write this all down somewhere.

The Catholic Church my lifetime church has become a den of social Justice vipers was educated in Catholic schools all the way through high school YET have been driven from the church just can’t not stand it anymore!! Found a wonderfully conservative Christian church with like minded people I enjoy being around! Catholic Charities being at our border enabling AND fighting for the invasion our nation was the red line, I had been feeling this way for probably a decade HOWEVER it was difficult after being a Catholic for my entire life to leave the Church!! I finally realized that God’s presence is NOT ONLY available in the Catholic Church his presence is available in MANY churches across this nation!!
