Just before former Gov. Nikki Haley of South Carolina suspended her presidential campaign Wednesday morning, former President Donald Trump insulted his former rival — as well as her supporters — before inviting them to support him.
"Nikki Haley got TROUNCED last night, in record setting fashion," Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform. "Much of her money came from Radical Left Democrats, as did many of her voters, almost 50%, according to the polls."
After cheering his Super Tuesday performance, Trump invited Haley's supporters to join him in "the greatest movement in the history of our Nation" to defeat President Joe Biden, whom he called "the enemy."
Trump's Truth Social missive arrived about the same time Haley announced she was suspending her campaign following a relatively poor showing on Super Tuesday.
Haley did not endorse the former president when she dropped out of the race but wished him well and called on him to win over her supporters.
"It is now up the Donald Trump to earn the votes of those in our party and beyond it who did not support him," Haley said in her Wednesday speech in Charleston, South Carolina. "And I hope he does that."
"This is now his time for choosing," she added.
On X, a spokesperson for Haley called out the differences between Trump's and Biden's reactions to the ex-UN ambassador dropping out of the race.
In Biden's statement, he said it "takes a lot of courage to run for President" and applauded Haley for being "willing to speak the truth about Trump."
"Donald Trump made it clear he doesn't want Nikki Haley's supporters," the president said. "I want to be clear: There is a place for them in my campaign."

Trump certainly thought Haley could “help” when he put her in his White House cabinet. Let’s not pretend her RINO credentials were not well established then.
It may seem dramatic if you voted for nikki and/or you way underestimate the dimocrat threat.
Perhaps you should go cheer for Biden someplace else. President Trump spoke the truth, apparently that’s too much for you to comprehend.

Anyone who thinks Nikki’s supporters were going to be big
on the idea of supporting Trump, needs a refresher course
in all things Haley.
She was not MAGA team player. Neither were her supporters.

It is Haley who got annihilated in the primaries and caucuses.

The headline amounts to a lie. He said they were democrat voters, not fellow Republicans (as Forbes is implying), and those democrats were playing dirty tricks by voting in a REPUBLICAN primary.

I can’t even figure out what you’re talking about. How can Trump get her voters, aside from the Dems who were just creating mischief? You seem to be saying Trump should drive her voters away.
I don't agree that ALL her voters have TDS. There's no grounds for saying that. Trump's Truth Social post was trying to appeal to her voters, right? But seemingly he's not trying to persuade her to come over to his side.
Trump educating Nikki Haley voters to rid them of their ignorance of how much much of a lobbyist gold mine she is she would sell their ass down river as fast as Biden has with his stooges.
I explained in an earlier post that it is not possible for President Trump to “drive her voters away”.
The truly undecided Nikki voters are about 5% of her voters—and most of them will probably go third party.
The voters you are concerned about do not exist except in your imagination.
Your source for that claim is what exactly? Even 5% is something in a very close swing state.
