Voters in 16 states and one territory headed to the polls in the largest contest so far in the 2024 presidential primary. One state, Alaska, held only a Republican contest. And Iowa and American Samoa held only Democratic contests.

Margins for Trump were pretty telling, except Vermont.
What was interesting was Utah Romneyland. Margin there was closer than Massachusetts--what gives?
Vermont has an open primary so they could have been Democrats voting.
EXACTLY what going on...there were media interviews with voters doing that. Vermont has a history of voting shenanigans...see the story of Fred Tuttle, ‘The Man With a Plan’...set up to keep Patrick Leahy in office.
An unreliable source has indicated exit polls from the Vermont Republican primary had a 53% “yes” response rate for the following question:
“Do you support an immediate end to the chokehold of the white male patriarchy?”
It could have been Democrats or it could have been Communists.
Lol.
Another note on Vermont lunacy...far-left candidate CENK UYGUR received 700 votes on the Democrat side of the ballot. These voters are STILL loose on Vermont streets as of this morning.
Michigan has open primaries as well and in 1998 a bunch of Republicans crossed over to the Democratic Primary and voted for Geoffrey Fieger (Jack "The Dripper" Kevorkian's lawyer) for Governor. At the time Governor Engler was a shoo-in on the Republican side so it was a safe bet.
Fieger lost the general election in a huge landslide.
Thanks for posting. Interesting percentages at each state.
Trump is going to win Utah and lose in Vermont in November. NBC can spin all they want about what happened last night.
I do not think there should be open primaries. If you are not a part of the party you should have no ability to dictate who that party nominates.
It is mostly red states that have open primaries. Figures.
Not sure if Utah has alot of California transplants. Could be that. Also the average voter only hears the negative about President Trump. Can you imagine the landslide if we didnt have a biased media?
Does anyone know what the story is with states that have delegates not awarded even though Trump clearly won them? Notably Texas has 14 delegates yet to be awarded.
BREAKING NEWS: Nikki Haley officially announces the end of her presidential campaign:
"I am filled with the gratitude for the outpouring of support we've received from all across our great country. But the time has now come to suspend my campaign."

In the example you gave delegates are awarded by Congressional district.
Some of those districts are still counting ballots so delegates could not be awarded yet.
They should be awarded today at some point.
Don’t know about that …BUT TEXAS KICKED ASS last night!

They have closed elections for the Republican primaries, so it wasn’t Democrats voting for Haley. Trump got over the 50& mark, so he got all of the delegates, which is all that really matters.
Trump trounced in every single county - he should get all 161 delegates - they only gave him 147
I agree 100%
I went to the DMV and a group was trying to get me to sign a petition to make Kansas an open primary. I told them I didn’t support that.
