Yeah well that border thing, ok, but Ruzzia, Ruzzia Ruzzia!
The topic of this post is regarding the Russian invasion of Ukraine. If you want to discuss the U.S. border, just post an article to start a thread of the crisis. :)
Wow. I just saw Kirsten Dunst carrying a cat.
Like I said, your lot are obsessed with Ukraine, not US national security, but Ukraine.
Was it in a carrier or was she holding it in her arms?
Where was she taking it?
I just saw this:
“Boxer Vladimír Kličko auctioned off his Olympic gold medal to raise money for neglected children in Ukraine. The medal was sold for a million dollars and the buyer of the medal immediately returned it to Vladimir because he wanted her to stay in the Klíčkov family .... much respect for both of you “
“Like I said, your lot are obsessed with Ukraine, not US national security, but Ukraine.”
You are entitles to freedom of thought & expression. However, I gently suggest your opinion may be skewed as you are viewing an article & thread regarding the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

PEACE PLAN
In Nov 2022, Zelenskyy first announced his peace formula at a November summit of the Group of 20 (G20) key economies.
The G7 leaders said they were committed to bringing peace to Ukraine “in line with its rights enshrined in the UN Charter.”
EXCERPTS from the Ukrainian 10-point peace formula President Zelensky outlined:
1. RADIATION AND NUCLEAR SAFETY
Russia must immediately withdraw all its militants from the territory of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. The station must be immediately transferred to the control of the International Atomic Energy Agency and Ukrainian personnel. The normal connection of the station to the power grid must be restored immediately so that nothing threatens the stability of the reactors.
The same goes for the crazy threats of nuclear weapons that Russian officials resort to. There are and cannot be any excuses for nuclear blackmail.
2. FOOD SECURITY
the initiative, Grain From Ukraine has already begun. Ukraine can export 45 million tonnes of food this year. And let a significant part of it be directed to those who suffer the most.
Each country can join with a specific contribution and become a co-creator of the victory over hunger and the food crisis.
3. ENERGY SECURITY
About 40% of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure was destroyed by strikes of Russian missiles and Iranian drones used by the occupiers.
A related goal of this terror is to prevent the export of our electricity to neighboring countries, which could significantly help them stabilize the energy situation and reduce prices for consumers.
I thank all our partners who have already helped Ukraine with the supply of air defense and missile defense systems. This allows us to shoot down some of the Russian missiles and Iranian drones.
If Russia is trying to deprive Ukraine, Europe and all energy consumers in the world of predictability and price stability, the answer is price restrictions on Russian energy resources & forced limitation of export prices for Russia.
4. PRISONERS and DEPORTEES
Thousands of UKRAINIANS – military and civilians – are in the Russian captivity being subjected to torture.
In addition, 11,000 children know by name were forcibly deported to Russia. They are separated from their parents in full knowledge that they have families.
Additionally, hundreds of thousands of deported adults and political prisoners are held in Russia and in the temporarily occupied territory as well as in Crimea.
We must release all these people.
5. UNITED NATIONS CHARTER AND UKRAINE’S TERRITORIAL INTEGRITY
The validity of international law must be restored without any compromises with the aggressor. The UN Charter cannot be applied partially, selectively or at will.
Russia must reaffirm the territorial integrity of Ukraine within the framework of the relevant resolutions of the UN General Assembly and the applicable international legally binding documents. It is not up to negotiations.
6. RUSSIAN TROOPS AND HOSTILITIES
Russia must withdraw all troops and armed formations from the territory of Ukraine. Control over all sections of Ukraine’s border with Russia must be restored. This will result in a real and complete cessation of hostilities.
7. JUSTICE
The world should endorse the Special Tribunal regarding the crime of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine and create of an international mechanism to compensate for all damages caused by this war. Compensation at the expense of Russian assets because as the aggressor must be responsible to do everything to restore the justice it violated.
A resolution of the UN General Assembly regarding an international compensation mechanism for damages caused by the Russian war has been proposed and endorsed.
8. IMMEDIATE PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT
Millions of hectares of forest were burned by shelling. Almost 200,000ha of Ukraine land is contaminated with unexploded mines and shells.
I thank all the countries that are already helping us with de-mining. However, there is an urgent need for increased number of equipment and experts for these operations.
Funds and technologies are also needed for the restoration of water treatment facilities.
9. PREVENTION OF ESCALATION
Ukraine is not a member of any alliances. Russia was able to start this war precisely because Ukraine remained in the grey zone – between the Euro-Atlantic world and the Russian imperialism.
An international conference should be held to finalize the key elements of the post-war security architecture in the Euro-Atlantic space, including guarantees for Ukraine. The main outcome of the conference should be the signing of the Kyiv Security Compact.
10. CONFIRMATION OF THE END OF THE WAR
A document confirming the end of the war should be signed by the parties when all the anti-war measures are implemented and security and justice begin to be restored.
States ready to take the lead in this or that decision can become parties to the arrangement.

Armenia Foreign Minister Mirzoyan said that Yerevan is considering applying for membership in the European Union as it seeks to establish closer ties with the West amid tensions with its traditional ally Russia in an interview with the Turkish TV channel TRT World.
“Today, many new opportunities are being discussed in Armenia, and it will not be a secret if I say that membership in the European Union is among them,” he said.
The Armenian Foreign Minister was speaking on the sidelines of a diplomatic forum in the Turkish city of Antalya.
The Foreign Minister noted that the people of Armenia have European aspirations. According to Mirzoyan, the European Union and the United States support democratic reforms in Armenia.

“It is also a priority to settle relations with our neighbors,” he added.
ENDING THE RUSSIAN INVASION???
Turkish and US officials held talks on Russia’s war against Ukraine during meetings in Washington. Ankara believes that the time has come for negotiations to end the war.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said that officials of the two countries had held several rounds of discussions on topics such as Syria, Ukraine, Gaza, defense industry cooperation, energy and the fight against terrorism.
According to him, the parties have achieved certain changes in the psychology of their relations and expect a more positive agenda in their further interaction.
“While addressing the challenges we are facing now, it is also important to realize the joint potential that the two nations can create and the opportunities they can provide,” he said.
Fidan also discussed various ways to stop Russia’s invasion of Ukraine with his American counterpart Anthony Blinken and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.
According to the Turkish Foreign Minister, Ankara believes that it is time to discuss ways to end the war. “We need a basis for talks to end this war and a dialogue to prevent worse crises, and we call for that.”
