Waiting on Morgan Meyer to get defeated. He’s ahead right now but barely
“Texas House Speaker Phelan Defeated in Primary”
For those who don’t know, Phelan, a Republican, was trying to get our Attorney General, Ken Paxton (literally, the best elected Republican in Texas) REMOVED from office. He had his Republicans in the Texas House IMPEACH Paxton, but thankfully the Republicans in the Texas Senate ended that scheme.
The Texas House, even when over 2/3’s REPUBLICAN in recent years, was the place that conservative legislation went to die as the GOP there teamed up with the Democrats, which is why you never saw Texas leading the way on national issues, but following, if at all.
Also, the last of the Bushes, George P. Bush (Jeb’s son), tried to beat Paxton in the GOP Primary 2 years ago...no dice, even with Paxton under some kind of investigation.
As Rick Perry once said, “Adios MoFo!”
“Today is getting close to that day in June 2014, when Eric Cantor was sent to K Street and McCain’s Amnesty sellout died for good!”
Remember that??!! Glorious!
WOOO HOOO!!!!!
Buh bye, Bushies!!!
BEST NEWS of the night!
Remember that??!! Glorious!

The BEST night! Even more fun because he didn’t expect it at all.
I remember your posting that night!
Correction. I guess there will be a runoff.

Many of those “republicans” are democrats running in the republican primary that vote one of their own for speaker with the support of the declared democrats. And just like the national party there are a ton of corrupt pols who are just looking to keep their nose in the trough.
Great news.
“The eyes of Texas are upon you . . .”
If true-adios, traidor-vete a la chin***...
Don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out, you RINO scumbag!
Phelan has been forced into a runoff election, not defeated.
I’m guessing one of the commies that impeached Paxton.
But, but, Rick Perry was campaigning for him. Sadly, my rino representative who voted for impeachment is eeking out a win.
