Russian offensive continues beyond Avdiivka. Ukrainian 47th Mechanized Brigade sends in M2A2 Bradleys and M1A1 Abrams to halt enemy progression. Ukraine transfers more and more reinforcements into that sector to prevent a major breakthrough, and in order to buy time to build more fortifications.
Just saying that in 44, the French were in no position to do *anything* about Ze Churmannz.
Have you seen their fight against the T-90? It was double rope-a-dope with the T-90 as the dope. That said, it was *not* an indictment of the T-90’s capabilities nor should it be taken as such - the T-90’s frontal and front side armor worked as advertised and kept the Bushmaster rounds out of the hull. What finally got it after an extended firefight was chain gun rounds through the top engine deck and rear of the hull, where all modern tanks are lightly armored. The tank actually performed as advertised and watchers of the action should not interpret it as “Russian tanks suck lol” because if the T-90 had had *any* support or an accompanying unit/overwatch, there would likely have been two very dead Brads and one scuffed up T-90 instead.
“ That’s two, possibly three Abrams that have been lost for zero enemy kills. Not good; Ukranian T-series tanks have been doing better.”

From what I’ve read the Russians offer substantial financial rewards for Abrams kills or captures. So I’m sure the Russian combatants are very hot-to-trot to seek and target Abrams tanks.
Definitely not. :)
There’s now at least one, possibly three less than at last report. One was clearly taken out by heavy ATGM in the last couple days: https://youtu.be/TDGoppLvXko?t=2134
35:34 in - this is a YouTube show compiling the latest combat footage releases from around the world, and it normally gets stuff like this. Heavy SACLOS ATGM vs M1A1 SA with M-19 ARAT armor package... looks like the ATGM wins.
Yeah. But three times! 1914, 1940 and 1944.
Why do you assume any particular number of enemy kills, including “zero”?
Because the Ukranians have not claimed any enemy armor kills by an Abrams, and they are *not* shy about kill claims.
Additionally, there are far too many eyes on the battlefield for there to be a covert armor kill. There may be confusion over what killed something, but there’s no hiding when any vehicle larger than an ATV gets killed in Ukraine.
Third one (unfortunately) shouldn’t count, they couldn’t have done anything about it since the prior time. :P
