I think PDJT should start playing “Forty Hour Week” by Alabama at his rallies. It would connect with so many “real” people.

So their “music” can be considered as campaign contributions?

Curious why anyone going to the rallies with her singing would want to listen....

Her father was a big fan. IIRC Rush also had to make donations to PETA to continue using the bumper music. I think it was around $360K per year.

It’s not her song, Prince wrote it.

Yeah, lets see a list of entertainers who do not discriminate over who plays their music by political party and go from there.
Democrat-only entertainers…list ‘em so we can avoid them

Can’t stop him unless he says okay.
He’s paying ASCAP, BMI and SESAC.

Her shitty voice and song is the last thing I’d want my fans to hear but if it bugs her I’d play it every time. Under the PPL there’s nothing they can do to stop it and by trying they suffer reputational damage, i.e more than half the country will think they are aholes.

Songwriters get the royalties. Not the performers.

At least Chrissie Hynde was cool with Rush using “My City Was Gone”, Rush just had to pay PETA, but Chrissie said her parents liked to listen to Rush.

When music artists join a performance rights organization (such as ASCAP or BMI) so that they can collect royalties, they lose their say in who can or cannot use their music. So long as the licensing fees are paid to the PRO, all is good.
That said, I like most of Sinead's music. She or her estate might not like such a deplorable like me listening to it, but too bad.
