A VP pick is not going to dramatically shift Trump’s base, barring the selection of Beezlebub, a serial pedophile, etc. But what a VP pick may do would be to further attract non-Republican voters.
The other other opportunity is a disruption to the unitary/deep state. Which is not going to happen without a clear mandate from voters. A simple majority win means more gridlock and nothing getting done. A clear message needs to be sent that a change is here. Your probably the same type that believes a RINO is better than a Democrat, which is exactly why we are in our current state.
