Friday, during an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “Jesse Watters Primetime,” former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) said she was “open” to serving as a vice-presidential nominee.
“Tulsi, you’re being considered for a VP slot,” host Jesse Watters asked. “Is that something you’re open to?”
“I would be open to that,” Gabbard replied. “My mission is to serve our country. I want to be in a position to solve problems, Jesse, and we’ve got a lot of them to solve.”

The Democrats want upcoming election to be about abortion. This issue is important to white urban and suburban women-an essential voting bloc. Gabbard’s presence on the ticket may help to claw back some of these voters.

Don't you think a person's stance on those issues speaks to their character? I sure don't want someone in any political position that is pro open border, LGBTQ, etc.

If picking Tulsi would help win the election she would be doing better now. She is not; she is going down in epic proportions. She might bring in some moderate votes but speaking as a woman I firmly believe picking her for VP would be a massive disappointment. I don't know of anyone, male or female, who likes her.

She is not now and will never be MAGA. She is a typical politician that goes whichever way the wind blows that is beneficial to her. There are many more and better people to be VP.

Exactly. My thoughts might be different about her if she were from a Red State, like Haley or Noem, but I tend to give her a pass, given that it’s Hawaii.
Tulsi Gabbard would be a perfect VP pick... for Biden. I would support that (but will vote for Trump). If Biden were to win I think it’s highly unlikely he would finish his 2nd term. She’d be the best Democrat president we could hope for today.
But Trump can do better.

She’s a VP pick that would stop me from voting for Trump. If he picks her, I’ll skip voting for president and wait for 2028. Gabbard is on 4 year probation for me. She’s held too many bad positions too recently for me to vote for her for anything. I’ll see where she is in a few years then may or may not adjust my opinion of her.
Please Trump, do not blow this by picking her. You may as well keep Christopher Wray as FBI director, if that’s the route you’re going to go.
