California officials employed debunked Democrat election lies to justify designating a Los Angeles-based “transgender empowerment” facility as a vote center for the state’s 2024 primary elections.
During a Thursday press conference, California Lt. Gov. Eleni Kounalakis and L.A. City Councilwoman Katy Yaroslavsky, both Democrats, revealed the Connie Norman Transgender Empowerment Center (CONOTEC) will serve as one of Los Angeles County’s vote centers during the Golden State’s primary elections this month. While this “first-of-its-kind voting center in the nation” will “accommodate” all voters, the facility specifically caters to transgender-identifying individuals, according to KNX News.
“The opening of the nation’s first transgender voting center today in Los Angeles marks a significant milestone in our efforts to champion equity, inclusivity, and LGBTQA+ rights in California,” Kounalakis claimed.
Kounalakis and Yaroslavsky were joined in the unveiling by cross-dressers Victoria Ortega and Chela Demuir of FLUX and the Unique Woman’s Coalition. According to its website, FLUX utilizes social events and develops so-called “safe spaces” and “innovative advocacy initiatives” to “raise the profile” of LGBT-identifying individuals. UWC aims to create “the next generation of black trans leadership from within the community through mentorship, scholarship, and community care engagement work.”
During her remarks, Yaroslavsky couldn’t help but regurgitate her party’s unsubstantiated lie that Republican-backed election integrity measures — such as voter ID and returning mail-in balloting laws to what they were before the 2020 Covid lockdowns — suppress votes.
“As state legislatures across the country try to make it harder and harder to vote, imposing draconian voter ID laws, eliminating early and mail-in voting, and limiting voting hours,” Los Angeles and California “must be the light in all that darkness,” the Democrat councilwoman said in hyperbolic fashion.
Ortega echoed those sentiments, baselessly claiming trans-identifying people “are intimidated when we go and cast our vote.”
Contrary to Yaroslavsky’s assertion, there is no evidence any of the election policies Republicans have proposed make it difficult for citizens to vote. Courts in New Hampshire and Ohio, for example, recently struck down bogus Democrat-backed lawsuits challenging the states’ voter ID laws, dismissing leftist claims these policies “suppress” demographics likely to support Democrats.
Equally revealing is that the vast majority of voters — including those who are black and Hispanic — support commonsense election provisions like voter ID requirements and ensuring only U.S. citizens can vote in American elections. Polling has also shown strong support for bans on unsecure policies such as ballot harvesting and limits on mail-in voting.
Trans voter: I'm not a he or she. I'm they, and we get to vote for each of us.
But will they have tampons in the bathrooms?
The sexual weirdo 'community' knows how to get grants so ALL OF US PAY FOR THEIR DAMN 'CENTERS'. If the corrupt press wasn't working as butt boys for the left they would do a three part series on 'grants' = who gets them and how much they cost all of us.
California officials are just as crazy as the transgenders or are they the transgenders ,LOL
Transgenderism is just faggotry under another name, only weirder.
