I understand Easter eggs are a pagan tradition and has nothing to do with Jesus. Eggs are a beautiful symbol and there’s the tradition of painting eggs. But replacing eggs with potatoes? YUK!
It is obvious that PETA does not know how hens lay eggs. It just happens. When I had chickens, I never saw them fret over them not meeting the quota of the day nor care where they lay them. None of them thought “I;m laying eggs for the White House”
But potatoes?

Sometimes PETA comes up with some really stupid ideas.
Let’s hope they don’t have a very strong lobby in DC or we will be seeing potatoes and not eggs at the WH Easter Egg Roll.
