In the 1030s, the USSR COMMIES, through their American members, tried to take over quite a few segments of Hollywood. The then Hollywood heads of almost all studios, got together and put an end to almost all of that.

the old "STUDIO SYSTEM" was EXTREMELY pro-American, patriotic, and unlike all of the first ones ( Edison and his pal Henry Ford etc. ) helped to promote these ideals to everyone, including teaching new immigrants factual American history, manners, and much more, all the while being entertaining.
