Defense Minister Yoav Gallant visited northern Gaza today (Thursday) and commented on the IDF's readiness to engage in an operation in Hamas' last stronghold in Rafah.
“We are closing in on Hamas. We are preparing to act in Rafah, as well as in the central camps, in order to reach the next stage which we will decide according to our priorities,” Gallant said.
He added, “We use the information we captured from the Hamas archives. There are huge amounts of information that we brought from the places we reached, computers, hard drives, servers and other things. All this information is decoded, it is used in order to destroy the tunnels and the nerve centers of Hamas."
Gallant also said that "the network of tunnels that Hamas built is now being used by us in order to dismantle the organization. They thought it would be their places of escape, and the places where they would fight - little by little it is turning into traps. You close in from one location, and then from another, and he either fights or comes out. What we said comes to pass: surrender or death. There is no third option."
“The result is very clear," Gallant continued. "Hamas is getting weaker with each passing day, we are getting stronger. We will go and tighten the rope around the neck of Hamas until we eliminate it. This war will not be stopped until Hamas is dismantled as a system and eliminated as an organization."
He said that the "only matter" in which Israel is willing to make concessions is in order to secure the release of the hostages...

I’m glad everything worked out well for all involved.
Israel eliminated Hamas.
Hamas got eighty virgins each.
anybody know how the tunnel flooding worked out?
Make Gaza a Demilitarized Zone.
Make the Hamass who want to live surrender and sign a No Jihad Agreement.
The thing is every time the IDF searches and area they pop back - it seems every rock as some sort of arms cache.
No matter how well they search, they cannot see everything, as a lot of it has been buried, as are rocket emplacements. Only Hamas members/civilians know where to look for a particular thing.
They only flooded a few tunnels, and it is limited by the type of geology the tunnel is in - limestone tends to dissolve in sea water, making the ground above unstable. Preferred method is to use explosives found in a tunnel to destroy it.
They found that searching a tunnel complex sometimes yields lots of gold and cash, documents, plus server farms. The ones they cannot get to, tend to find bunker buster bombs.
Make the Hamas who want to live surrender and sign a No Jihad Agreement.
************************************************
No agreements - won’t be honored by hamas or palis.
The correct term is “behave or die”.
No muzzie would ever deny Jihad....
It is better to send dogs and robots into the tunnels.
The IDF was even surprised by the vast extent of the tunnels in Gaza.
The only thing keeping them from blowing the tunnels in Khan Unis and Rafah up is the remaining hostages.
They are being used as human shields by Sinwar the last Hamas commander not neutralized.
Go to YouTube and search for TBN Israel. They have been posting videos daily of updates from Israel and Gaza.
Another source calls themselves Raptor News. Also on YouTube. Much better info than anything else I have seen.
I am thinking, make Gaza look like Venice.
It could become an Eden like vista of flora.
I was only thinking that water was harder to dig tunnels in.
Hamas wants a ceasefire.
Israel should offer them a permanent ceasefire, if they release all the hostages immediately.
Then as soon as hamas breaks it, destroy them
Does anyone have evidence the hostages are alive?
Net zer0 on the CO2 side.
yes, i just never heard anything after they turned the pumps on
yes, but they did flood some of them... just no word after they turned the pumps on

I wish that we fought wars like that - but the last time we did was in 1945, thanks to cowardly/traitorous politicians and media personalities.
