As a Texan I can tell you that Cornyn is just marking time until his rice bowl is sufficiently full so he can ride off into the sunset. While not a pure RINO he does often straddle the line between left and right, never leaning too far in either direction. Some will say that this is good and that he will be good at compromise thereby getting things done. Maybe so in a sense but that is not the type of conservative I want in the Senate. I want a leader that knows that when your opponent is drowning you don’t throw him a life preserver, you throw him an anvil.

I am from Texas. This guy is “conservative” only when he is running for office, as he is right now for McConnell’s post. He is a RINO scumbag, and doesn’t deserve to even be in the Senate representing Texas, let alone being the Republican leader. I very strongly urge all Republican senators to choose someone else.
