As a Texan I can tell you that Cornyn is just marking time until his rice bowl is sufficiently full so he can ride off into the sunset. While not a pure RINO he does often straddle the line between left and right, never leaning too far in either direction. Some will say that this is good and that he will be good at compromise thereby getting things done. Maybe so in a sense but that is not the type of conservative I want in the Senate. I want a leader that knows that when your opponent is drowning you don’t throw him a life preserver, you throw him an anvil.

Hey John, I voted for you at least twice. I regret my votes. You quite literally say one thing in your campaigns, and act one way (body language) and then when you get to Washington it’s as if your constituents don’t even exist, or to you they exist on another planet.
