I think Cruz would have more support in the Senate, being one of them.

Paxton would probably want to be Lt. Governor of Texas if Dan Patrick runs to replace Greg Abbott.

Paxton is lethal and that’s what is needed to clean up the DOJ and it’s only for four years.
