The Alphabet-owned company paused Gemini's image generation feature last week after users on social media flagged that Gemini was creating inaccurate historical images that sometimes replaced White people with images of Black, Native American and Asian people.
In a note to employees, Pichai said the tool's responses were offensive to users and had shown bias.

That's exactly why they shut it down - they lost control of the output. Which will happen every time unless they cripple it to the point of uselessness.
Why not make a goal to program it to be as fact based and as unbiased as is humanly possible?
Because....in the time of universal deceit, telling the unbiased truth would be against all marxist/commie policies.
It’s hard to explain how complex the development of algorithms really is. Nowadays the eggheads are relying on AI to build them with a few cues and feeds from various sources. This whole incident tells me that Google fed their algorithm A LOT of lefty bullshit. Reversing that course is honestly a yeomans effort. They have to scrap it all and start from scratch.
Google is honestly as evil as they come. I’ve worked with their engineers and what many of them don’t bring with incompetence they make up for with left wing ideological pabulum.
It was programmed to receive.....then, deceive.
Let me take a wild guess here. I thought “Hm. Working around the clock? Why?”

And they have to hammer it into shape so that what is presented to the “user” does not reveal the underlying purpose of manipulation or indoctrination, which was all to clear when it was released in its “imperfect” form recently.

The bastards were planning to use AI to program the minds of millions. They thought the folks would believe anything AI would spit out, because it’s AI, and that way they would be able to feed the proper woke thoughts into our minds.

Google will change their product so it’s no so obvious what they’re doing, but nothing substantial will change. They still have a lot of agendas to slip into our minds so that we all speak NewSpeak correctly.

The only regret he has is that the company has been called out on its hate whitey posture.
I culled most of google on my devices and am working on deleting gmail which may take a while.

My g-d that is the funniest thing I have seen in a long time, I mean, isn’t that what the liberals want, is for there to be no white people? We all should just be a figure of their imagination? I laughed for two minutes straight.
They should leave it as it is. It provided countless hours of entertainment and content for conservative blogs.
So AI has to be fixed to get the right answer when it is obvious to all thinking humans that it’s getting the wrong answer. Great leap forward.
