Star Trek actor George Takei has claimed that Republican politicians will use the murder of Laken Riley as justification to create internment camps for illegals like those for Japanese-Americans during World War II.
“Never again,” an indignant Takei wrote in a recent X post.
George Takei was responding to a post from House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), who blasted the Biden administration for allowing several million illegal aliens to cross the border. Johnson’s post noted that an illegal alien who entered the U.S. under Biden has been arrested for the murder of 22-year-old Augusta University nursing student Laken Riley.

Here in Washington state there were many Japanese citizens who owned land in the fertile Snohomish Valley north of Seattle.
FDR put them in camps to steal their farmland. Japanese citizens from Seattle and all over the state were sent to a camp in Idaho.
I wonder if this is why Pedo Joe decided to rebuild the internment camp in Colorado under the cover of making it a National Park. He’s planning on locking up the Japs again!
These would not be internment camps but jails for people illegally in the United States. Internment camps were a shameful time during war that our country locked up people that were here legally and in many time were citizens and had 4th amendment rights.

Japanese citizens and legal residents were interned because there WERE spies and saboteurs amongst them.
Illegal aliens need to be DEPORTED, because they are illegal, and because there are murderers, rapists, robbers, frauds, cheats, and thieves amongst them.

Not internment camps, but holding areas where illegals will be processed and await their deportation or imprisonment.
Better yet, remain in Mexico until your hearing date comes up. That’s what finally happened during the Trump administration. International law used to say that an asylum seeker must stay in the first country they come to where they are safe. Except for Mexicans and Canadians, that is not the USA.
Maybe he would feel better if they were public spaces with a sign on the door that says “no gaijin”
We don’t want internment camps. We want them all deported. If they want back in, they can come in legally with full documentation and medical checkups.
He needs to leave the country before that happens.

However, however, feeding and housing illegal immigrants should be illegal. Except at voluntary camps run by the federal government.
