Also, the Exxon Valdez and Deepwater Horizon. Millions of gallons of oil spilled and the ocean made it like it never happened.

Thanks.

“The EPA has taken responsibility for the incident, but refused to pay for any damages”

Typical.

I often camped up at Irongate Res. Good fishing for perch and bass. Now it’s gone and the area is a mess.

It’s more like “The law says we can’t pay any damages for our incompetence, but you’re welcome to go broke suing us in federal court with a remote chance of finally winning at the Supreme Court ten years after your death”.

And either way, it would be us paying for it.

Sounds like when the Feds broke a dam around Silverton Colorado, and polluted the Animas River, San Juan River, and Colorado River clear to Mexico.. I used to live on the Animas in my youth.

“Klamath has been a liberal caused disaster since 2000. It once was a peaceful environmentally-friendly farm district owned mainly by WWII vets.”

We came to Klamath when I was 4 weeks old. Daddy built houses for those vets.

Happy talk and looking forward years does little good looking out your window at this devastating, needless mess created by ignorance and arrogance and realizing your life’s work and property values is GONE.

I lived there. My son is still there on the old property. Between the Almeda fire and this, any wealth and property I worked my entire life for is GONE. ALL GONE.

The eco terrorists "won". Their work is finished and they have left the mess behind them.

If anyone is not convinced this is a dying nation they never will be.

What a bloody pitiful mess.

Govt created disaster, govt spends more money, the cycle never ends
= = =

The trouble with the ‘Govt’ is that they think ‘Govt’ is autocorrected to ‘God’, and they are God.

The stupid democrats do these ignorant things because they think they are smart. Nothing more stupid than a democrat who fancies himself to be smarter than others.

Imagine how much better the world could be without democrats, RINOs, and neocons.

Ages ago, when I was a kid, we fished in an old railroad lake along side abandoned tracks. It was a great fishing spot with lots of wildlife that gathered around it as well. A tranquil spot.

Sometime, years ago we had one of those really wet years and the dam was breached leaving a huge mud flat. NO more fishing, no more wildlife, no more oasis, just a big mud flat. Fifty years later it is still just a big mud flat but overgrown by nothing good. You can spot it from satellite, just a dead spot.

Some decisions, like taking out over 100 year-old dams are just stupid. If in 100 years or more the fish propulations are just now in decline did anyone ever think it might not be the dams? I didn't think so.

Sad. And yes, the native people in Alaska would absolutely destroy all the fish and game where they lived too. Then they would move to another location and do it again. That’s their “sustainability” in the past. It’s willful stupidity to think otherwise.
