I have supported helping the Ukraine out, but these NATO
players in Europe need to be put on a leash. If they go
into the Ukraine, Russia has every right to reciprocate.

Now the European nations could assure Russia they have
no aspirations for Russian pre-Ukraine land, but Russia
is so paranoid and intransigent by now, it won’t make
much difference.

I don’t favor Russia in this, but when open hostilities
between nations surface, all bets are off. It will
be the opening of the European campaign.

China will then launch their efforts in the Western
Pacific, WWII all over again.

Though I absolutely oppose the “woke” “hate America” narrative pushed by some in the educational establishment, and I suppose that said narrative may indeeed persuade a few kids that America is a racist, oppressive, malevolent force in the world not worth defending or fighting for, I’m a little skeptical that this sort of thing is the *primary* reason the military is losing recruits.

I tend to think the military itself is the reason. Starting with the Obama administration, the officer class swung left and began embracing homosexuality, transgenderism and all manner of perversity... and race-hustling and general political leftism. Polls of military officers in 2020 indicated that a stunning 60 percent disapproved of President Trump, a staggering 20 percentage points above Trump’s disapproval rate among enlisted personnel. Eventually, the word has trickled out... this ain’t your grandpa’s military anymore.

And the outrage about the mandatory EUA "Vaccines". Let's not forget that.

Who wants to be illegally coerced and abused to take a potentially crippling experimental drug which can change your life for no good reason?

I spent over 30 years in the military. For that "vaccine" reason alone I discourage any of my grandkids to join. It was a complete betrayal of trust and an abuse of power.

My son is Active Duty US Navy. He says that 90% of the folks on his ship are there because they want to serve their country and are anti DEI/woke BS. He’s the 6th generation to serve his country in uniform. He did say however that many of his Boot Camp shipmates did show up physically out of shape.

40+ years ago, I was an HQ Battery Commander at Fort Bliss...you know, cooks and clerks, over 300 soldiers in all. The PT test pass rate was 98%, 5 out of 300 failed, but they passed on their next opportunity.

How did we do it? We had an hour's worth of PT five days a week. I led calisthenics for 15-20 minutes, followed by a two mile run in formation. I've always thought it was important for my soldiers to see me sweating along with them.

Having served during almost all of the 90’s, I can tell you it started back then. Thank the Lord I’ve been out a while, but I know it got way worse under Barry Zero. This isn’t a recent thing.
I pray for my son who is trying to be a combat medic in the Army.

That’s only part of it. Recruitment is not falling for Blacks or Hispanics. It is falling off a cliff for Whites. When an organization signals that it thinks you are the problem, holds you in contempt, and does not have your back, you’d be a fool to join that organization.

Agreed, Sir. I used to routinely score 270-285 on my PT test, yet I was constantly being “tape tested”. I was 5’6 and 165 with very low body fat but had to get “taped” because I was “out of the weight standard” It used to crack me up...

The illegal diktats to force military members to take the Jim Jones Jabs will have adverse consequences for generations.

Most who join the military fall into two groups: a tour or two and then back to civilian life, or a smaller group who want to make a career of it.

For those joining for a tour or two, why would they ever risk death or having health complications for something that was only to be a interim step in their life?

For those looking at a career in the military, why risk starting down a very narrow career path where someone could tell you 18 years in that you'll lose your pension if you don't risk your life by getting chemically raped by a korporation screwing with your DNA?
