Email sent to all of Macomb County Michigan Republican Precinct Delegates
February 22,2024
Delegates:Greetings all Delegates and Alternates to the March 2nd District Convention
You will see below the call to convention that was sent out on February 20th from the Hoekstra Administration.
We are now faced with a "two competing convention issue", one in Detroit and one in Grand Rapids.
You have every right to attend whichever one you choose, but many of you are new delegates and are unfamiliar with the way the structure functions.
You will be electing 3 Delegates and 3 Alternates to the Republican National Convention. You will be electing a National Committee Man and a National Committee Woman. The National Convention is a function of the RNC (Republican National Committee).. Just as we (Macomb Rep. Party) had to run last week's convention by State Party Rules, the State Party has to run their convention by RNC Rules. The RNC has officially recognized Pete Hoekstra as the Chair of the MIGOP. Therefore, The RNC will seat the Grand Rapids elected 39 Delegates at their National Convention.
I humbly encourage all the Trump Delegates in Macomb and throughout the State to attend the Grand Rapids District Convention and make sure that Donald J. Trump receives all 39 of Michigan Delegates, and that they are all truly "Trump Delegates".
We simply must deal with reality.
Respectfully, Mark Forton MCRP Chair
The Dueling Convention History Kristina Karamo vs Pete Hoekstra
Email sent to Macomb County Michigan Republican Precinct Delegates,
February 19, 2024 Good Morning Fellow Republicans,
Last week was pivotal because a lot of information came to light that will impact the future of the Michigan Republican Party. I encourage each of you to consider the following:
My administration has obtained more concrete evidence of the RNC leadership colluding with the “political lynch mob” to try and eliminate me as Chairwoman. Pete Hoekstra and his “hoaxster” organization are fraudulently soliciting funds while impersonating the MIGOP. According to their bogus website, all funds they receive are being deposited into the MICHIGAN GOP RED PAC account.
The majority of the MIGOP State Committee members and Precinct Delegates have made it clear that they support me as Chairwoman, and they will not be deterred by the sinister schemes of Pete Hoekstra and his fellow “hoaxsters.”
The Michigan Republican Party is a legal entity. Prominent individuals and organizations other than the Michigan Republican Party State Central Committee, proclaiming Pete as the chair, have no legal standing. He cannot legally conduct business, which includes a convention on behalf of the Michigan Republican Party. As the legal MIGOP Chairperson, only I can do that. Pete Hoekstra is claiming that he is going to hold a separate convention. The fact is, he is wrong! His claim that he has the legal authority to do so is not only unethical, but it also creates mass confusion amongst the MIGOP County Chairs and Precinct Delegates. His audacity shows a complete lack of respect for the dedicated Republicans who worked hard to plan and organize the March 2nd MIGOP District Convention at Huntington Place. The Calls to Convention have gone out stating it would be held in Detroit, and the convention venue has already been paid for.
As the duly elected and twice reaffirmed Chairwoman of the MIGOP, I urge Pete Hoekstra to join me at the 2024 MIGOP District Convention in Detroit on March 2, 2024. This is an excellent opportunity for us to convene in the same room, stand in front of approximately 2000 delegates, and end this divide with a vote! From that point, we should both agree to respect the results of the vote and put an end to this manufactured “dispute” once and for all.
By uniting the Party via the outcome of this legitimate vote, we can do the following: Be victorious in 2024.
Strengthen our ability to better serve We The People. Protect Michiganders from the pernicious agendas of Democrats.
If we consider the alternative, no one who emerges from two conventions will enjoy even a veneer of unity, and Michigan Republicans will know there is still a huge divide within the Party. This is important because our state will play a critical role in deciding who will win the 2024 Presidential election.
The bottom line is, let the delegates decide! This is the only possible way to move forward at this point.
In Liberty,
Kristina Karamo Chairwoman Michigan Republican Party

RNC officially recognizes MIGOP chairperson By Wells Foster, WILX 10 Published: Feb. 14, 2024 at 6:14 PM EST
LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - The Republican National Convention is now officially recognizing a new Michigan party chair.
Pete Hoekstra is now the chairman of the Michigan Republican Party or MIGOP.
Hoekstra was endorsed by Former President Trump.
“Both the RNC and our Party’s presumptive nominee Donald Trump have now come forward and recognized me as the duly elected Chair of the Michigan Republican Party. It is time for the former Chair who was properly removed in accordance with the MIGOP bylaws to end her misinformation campaign. She should join the fight to re-elect Donald Trump rather than dividing this Party. Since I was elected Chairman, we have moved full-steam ahead to develop a plan to elect Republicans across Michigan. We are ready to execute. We must put our nose to the grindstone over the next several months and focus on party unity to secure a red-wave victory in November,” the Trump campaign said in a statement.
Former Chairwoman Kristina Karamo was voted out on Jan. 6, 2024.
However, Karamo refused to leave her seat, saying the following to News 10 in January:
“Any report claiming that I am no longer chair of the Michigan Republican Party is false. A rogue faction is doing everything possible to bully me out of the chairmanship that the majority of members of our State Central Committee on January 13th affirmed that I shall maintain. No amount of fake news reports will change the fact that I am legally Chair of the Michigan Republican Party, and that the majority of the state committee and precinct delegates want me to remain there.”
The MIGOP eventually sued Karamo for control of the party.
Despite Karamo’s removal, the MIGOP X/Twitter account continued to claim that she was chairwoman. The account was still falsely claiming Karamo was chairwoman as of Feb. 13. (Excerpted) More at:https://www.wilx.com/2024/02/14/rnc-officially-recognizes-migop-chairperson/

A friend was an early supporter of Karamo as well as an advisor. He realized long ago that she was out way over her skis and unprepared to lead. Now she needs to realize that and do the statesmanlike thing and walk away.
Girl Bosses in Michigan are destroying the state.
Donald Trump needs to go to Michigan and hold a MASSIVE rally and straighten this mess out by publicly appearing at his rally with the REAL GOP chair ...
the people want karaoke....
the swamp GOPe rino uniparty is the one seeking to regain control from the America First oriented candidate karamo, so they staged an rnc sanctioned coup
