A New York judge presiding over former President Donald Trump’s civil fraud case has denied his legal team’s request to avoid paying a $355 million penalty in the case.
Trump lawyers had asked Judge Arthur Engoron to delay enforcement of the payment by 30 days to allow time for an "orderly post-judgement process."
James said Monday she was prepared to seize former President Donald Trump's assets if he is unable to pay the massive judgment handed down in his civil fraud case.
Trump's promised appeal is likely to halt collection of his penalty while the process plays out.

The Treasury shall withhold payment of all funding under current federal law to the State of New York, the City of New York, the City of Buffalo, New York County, Kings County, Queens County, Bronx County and Erie County and pay it instead to Donald J. Trump upon his application at any IRS office in the State of Florida until he has received $550 million in reallocated funds.
Payment he shall so receive shall be free of federal revenue imposition.

The key factor is that no bank would grant Trump et al. a mortgage for more than the value of the property.
Trump and his people would not buy a property for more than it is worth.
Over time real property tends to increase in value.
Outside of NYC and SF, real property is doing swell.
NYC has problems now, but Mayor Adams is working to deal with them. Is Mayor Adams lying? Should he have to disgorge his salary? Should Governor Hochul have to disgorge her salary? Should the governmental employees and former employees have to disgorge their salaries, healthcare benefits and pension?
Should Joe Biden have to disgorge ~1/20% (NYS has about 1/20th of the US population) of his presidental income?

That is a very good idea. But my credit card is from Bank of America, and they have branches in almost every state. But I did cancel my credit card from Goldman Sachs.
