Hochul’s approval rating plunges over NY’s sky-high cost of living, migrant crisis: poll

New Yorkers are getting fed-up with Gov. Kathy Hochul, whose job approval plunged a net of eight points from last month — with voters citing the Empire State’s sky-high cost of living and the migrant crisis as their top concerns, a new poll shows.

Those quality-of-life issues appear to be what dragged down the Democrat, according to the Siena College poll out Tuesday that saw Hochul’s favorability rating sink to 41-46%, down from 45-42% in January, and her job approval rating drop to 48-47%, down from 52-43%.

Some 29% of registered New York voters polled by the upstate college said the cost of living was their main concern for the governor and the legislature to address, with the migrant crisis, crime, and affordable housing rounding out the other top problems on their minds.

“New Yorkers were clear on the top issues they wanted the Governor and Legislature to address in September, and those are the same issues they want Albany to address today,” Siena College pollster Steven Greenberg said in a press release.

The smart folks have already fled the state.

Yeah, and they're moving to my state (TN) and voting blue.

Why do you think they are letting non-citizens vote for non-federal offices ?

“New Yorkers are getting fed-up with Gov. Kathy ..”

NY will easily reelect it and anyone else who is despicable enough for their taste.

For these New York idiots, the solution is plain: Vote in more democrats, especially people of color who don’t like people of no color. Yes, that will fix it.

A book I read when I was 14 years old, the Liberal Hour by John Kenneth Galbraith (1960) concluded that the major trend in the US was that the American people gripe about things and sway in various directions politically but in the silence and solitude of the voting booth with the curtain is closed behind them, they mostly vote Democrat.

From FDR in 1933 to Eisenhower—all Dem then Dems again with JFK, a Dem. US House, a Dem. US Senate, most governors and the LBJ 61.1% victory with 41 states and DC in 1964.*

Then in 1968 it ended.

*A book I liked better was None Dare Call It Treason which sold over one million copies in 1964. And A Choice Not An Echo by Phyllis Schlafly (1964).

Hochul and her voters just don’t see the political hurricane building about 200 miles east in the Atlantic.

It’s sunshine today but the all time, all time economic disaster that will result in the unemployment that’s coming to New York due to business closings and depopulation will devastate New York. It will make their first NEAR bankruptcy in 1975 look like a walk in the park.

They may not have voted for her last time.

Why is Deep State stealing so-called blue state elections if the citizens would vote for this??

And speaking if migrants, an oddball story from Upstate NY...

Firefighters called to fire at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Syracuse

Note that guests aren't mentioned until the very last paragraph. And why do hotel guests need help finding another place to stay? Was the Crowne Plaza housing migrants? If so, did migrants cause the fire? Inquiring minds want to know.

Isn't Gov. Kathy Hochul the bimbo who assured New Yorkers THEY won't be destroyed in Courts with trumped up charges IF THEY BELONG TO THE CORRECT POLITICAL PARTY?

Business conservatives: escape New York and move to Florida before this stupid bimbos changes the laws so you can't leave.
