Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley fought back tears Tuesday when talking about her husband’s military deployment overseas, during a campaign speech in which she pledged to keep up her battle against former President Trump for the 2024 presidential nomination.
Haley urged a crowd in South Carolina, ahead of Saturday’s primary in the state, to share in her vision of a country where “we can still unite and move forward together — not with anger, not with fear, but with faith and hope, like we’ve done before.
She said this same vision motivated both her and her husband Michael to serve their country, growing emotional when discussing her husband’s military deployment — a topic that has become a focus of the campaign since Trump took aim at her husband’s absence from the campaign trail.

First of all Trump did not mock her husband’s deployment. He made a simple statement of her failing in the polls. This from Newsweek:
“He went on: “The other day, she had almost no people attend her ‘rally’ (We had thousands and thousands who couldn’t even get into the large arena), an embarrassment to her wonderful husband, in Africa. I think he should come back home to help save her dying campaign.”
Secondly her kumbaya vision:
“...her vision of a country where “we can still unite and move forward together — not with anger, not with fear, but with faith and hope, like we’ve done before.”
This is truly not a vision I would want a president to have. Our history has never been based upon mutual visions and cooperation with other countries. This is why we have had to defend ourselves in war so many times and in some cases, those wars were caused because of our over used failure of the diplomacy she wishes to engage.
We live in a world of evil people. those people do not wish to talk things out, they want to harm to win. How many have to die or be premanently harmed for her to realize diplomacy won’t work with people who not only are not afraid to die for their beliefs, but welcome it?
This is the attitude that has been so painful for this country over the many years like the revolution, WW I and II, Korea, Vietnam, Kosovo, Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, and now the new war of hidden support like in the Ukraine and hamas in Palestine. It’s not going to end with diplomacy, that only enhances it. They have to take away their safety and security till they have no where to hide. They have to make the country they live in want them to leave. But our politicians are not willing to make them pay the price...so we pay it for them in money and bodies. After we allow them to make us. And in time, we lose more than they deserve.

But when Haley spoke up and complained, it was like: “Wait a minute - you screwed around while he was away!” If Haley had shut up, she would have been fine.

Yeah I saw it a couple time on FOX and FOX has been anti Trump all day having everything Haley over and over and just not they had Manchin on running down Trump. Saying he has no morels and makes fun of people and Manchin said he would not vote for Trump. Now Cavuto is questioning if Trump is president would he defend NATO countries.
