It was thuggee, and often just the fact it was from an Indian gang causes white Dems to chime in that to use such a term is racist. Because why couldn’t you come up with a term from white cultures?

Well, it originally had nothing to do with race in a KC context. There were both Hindu and Muslim Thuggees IIRC. Brits put them down in India in 1800s, which current folks might consider racist there in hindsight.
