Some publications assume that the reader shares certain cultural beliefs and customs. For the readers of Britain's Mirror that includes low brow assumptions about the superiority of British culture, civilization, and language. That unlike savage America, exposure of third world immigrants to British life, merely by breathing wholesome British air, they will be transformed into model Public School lads, and happy and productive cab drivers and hotel staff.
