Joy should ask the Chinese, the Irish, the Italians, etc etc.
Or the million Irish that were used when jobs were too dangerous for costly slaves. The Irish, many, were worked to death to build something. Funny. The Irish were so mistreated many worked their way into law enforcement hence the stereotype.
My Pottawatomi kin...do not count?
Sam Cooke
A true talent.
“The Irish were so mistreated many worked their way into law enforcement hence the stereotype.”
Paddy wagons?
They picked cotton, and built nothing. The Chinese workers built the railroad lines, and we treated them like crap. Yet today, they are law-abiding, have high credit scores and don’t demand reparations.
Joy. Your people have destroyed more Walmarts than anything you all have ever built. The only thing your people are famous for is cotton underwear and socks, playing children’s sport games for whitey to watch and singing, dancing and telling bad jokes. Idiot. If y’all went home, you wouldn’t be missed.
Actually the Chinese probably did more to build this country. That’s funny. There is no Chinese History Month?
Here you go, Joy....

“Now, [Joy], I have often heard blacks demanding reparations for slavery. All right. I agree. It is only fair. I will pay a half-million dollars to each of my slaves, and free them immediately. I am not sure how many I have, but will try to give you an estimate in even dozens. Further, I believe that all blacks are entitled to a similar amount for every year in which they were slaves.”
“However, I think you owe us royalties for the use of our civilization, which can be regarded as a sort of software. There should be a licensing fee. After all, every time you use a computer, or a door knob, you are using something invented by us. Every time you sharpen a pencil, or use one, or read or write, you infringe our copyright, so to speak. We have spent millennia coming up with things–literacy, soap, counting–and it is only fair that we receive recompense.”
“The accounting burden would be excessive if we tried to distribute royalties in too fine a granularity, such as three cents per use of a boom box or a Glock, so we should probably use a bundled approach–so much per year for use of the wheel, refrigerator, and television. The amount could be deducted first from reparations payments and then automatically from EFT cards.”
<< The only thing black women hate more than white people is their own hair. >>
Funny, and a whole lot truer than Reid’s rant.
When set free, many just stayed where they were. Most slaves were expensive and hence were valuable to be taken care of. Free - they had to go the sharecroppers route which was brutal life. Most of us Southern heritage have most of our family tree full of sharecroppers, miners, loggers …. Most died fairly young. The south was never full of white plantation owners living off black slaves. It was a few working the poor whites to early deaths.
What a colossal liar!
Both of Reid’s parents were not American citizens. Her father was from the Congo and her mother was from Guyana. Foreign exchange students who benefited from being educated in the USA. They did not build anything here.
Joy Reid ought to be a ashamed of herself, but she is such faker. She is entitled to nothing.
Just the usual... the rabid left trying to re-write history to reflect them more favorably. And as usual, it’s all a lie. Problem is... these cretins control what lies most kids are being indoctrinated with in public schools.
This is really a false history.
Back in the day, the fact is that black people were barred from many jobs.
The central theme of Dr Martin Luther King’s civil rights movement was right to work which seems to be forgotten piece of history.
How about reparations for the 500,000 whites who set you free?
Not precisely germaine, but part of my story. In a former life a friend and I, who grew up on neighboring farms worked at a Fortune 500 co; he as Chief Industrial Designer and I as a Mfg. Engr. One day he and I were reminiscing that a few years prior he and I had been walking around in cow manure. When the VP of sales walked up and asked what we were discussing, we frankly told him. He said, “Boys, never be ashamed of where you came from. My father came from Italy to Chicago, and worked in a factory sewing pockets in overcoats. And look at us now.” Methinks Ms. Reid is so full of crap her eyes are brown!
Let’s see: he set race relations back about 1000 years, not to mention increasing our national debt, and curbed our liberties 🗽.
my father, grandfather, and 3 uncles were career iron workers..... they were white
He said that in Roanoke?
Hilarious.
My ancestors were there in the 1770s, Baptist Brethern, anti-slavery, still there even now.
I guess my Grandfathers back about 5 or 6 generations don’t count either.
They were all just REALLY LAZY West Virginia COAL MINERS!
Never did a damn thing to build America.
