Article Dig Deeper Two police officers and a paramedic were reportedly fatally shot Sunday morning while responding to an incident in Burnsville, Minn.
Two local outlets, CBS affiliate WCCO and The Pioneer Press, both confirmed the deaths, citing law enforcement sources. Officials have not confirmed the reports as of press time.
At least one other officer appears to have been shot as well, according to Minnesota Democratic Sen. Amy Klobuchar, who said on X, formerly Twitter, that she and her husband are praying for the first responders and their families.

The good people of Minnesota imported muslims in a big way. I guess they didn’t figure it would be a problem.

Some years ago, I remember that in high crime areas, medical first responders were demanding their right to be armed on the job, but I don’t remember what became of it.
Most big city mayors don’t even want their police to be armed (except for their own security details, of course). So they never would agree for paramedics or firefighters to be armed.
I used to teach in a big city. We had school police. Our liberal school board would not allow the school police to be armed. Not even with pepper spray or a taser. So if a student has a knife or a gun, the first responders are usually the unarmed school police. Crazy.
Burnsville? One would have to know this sleepy suburb to understand what an Obamahole all of Minnesota has become.

I’d be interested to know what protocol is for a call like that in that locale, how many cars, how many officers, tactical team...
