What is the Russian goal now? Take over the whole country? Just part of it? Keep them out of NATO?

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Russia’s goal is to steal back half of Europe - Stalin style.

“We both knew the BS line we were fed about the Russian Bear being paper tiger was a lie two years ago. Apparently, the rainbow warriors in the pentagon believed it.”

I saw the same ARROGANCE in college from this same bunch. They simply MAKE UP THEIR MIND and then convince themselves that they’re right.

So now they’re the Neocons are they are getting SPANKED by the adults in the room, probably for the first time in their lives.

[Why aren’t they paying for their own damn war then?]

It’s hard to pump oil/gas when a hostile neighbor invaded the territory where those resources are located. That is what this whole war is about. Resources. Not Nazis, not Russian speaking Ukrainians, not NATO on the border. This was to keep Ukraine from cutting into Russia’s natural gas exports.

Russian speaking ≠ ethnic Russian. Only Crimea has a Russian ethnic majority. Donbas is majority ethnic Ukrainian; Kherson and Zapporizhzhi by an overwhelming majority

So... who in Russia do you an I support?

The “deplorable” Trump-equivalent russian citizens who supports Navalny, freedom and the end of the Kremlin warmongering?

Or do we prefer Putin’s deep-state establishment pushing for endless forever wars?

Evidently I support the “deplorables”.

And you?

Ukraine did not start this land war, Russia did.

I guess it’s time to give the Ukrainians a few dozen nuclear weapons.

Ukraine doesn’t need NATO. Any country is welcome to join in the fight.

“Ukraine did not start this land war, Russia did.”

Tell that to the people in Donbass, particularly Donetsk, in very early 2022, as shells were raining down on them like a thunderstorm.

Difference is that the 20th Century Nazis were running out of everything - transport, fuel, rubber, soldiers being the primary shortages; transport causing issues with munitions and food.

The Ukes, on the other hand, have access to unlimited supplies of everything (except troops, and the New World Order is pushing on that issue). And the Russians haven’t made serious efforts to interdict supply lines from the west - a major strategic error on their part.

“So... who in Russia do you an I support?”

Unlike you, I’m American and I DO NOT have to support ANYONE in Russia, nor do I have to support anyone in Ukraine, for that matter. (at least until you guys put a gun to my head)

Of course, you’re serious. How’s it feel being proven wrong about everything you’ve said about this war? I stand by everything I’ve written about this catastrophe. Go back and check. Not to worry, you’d be top notch talent at the White House or Pentagon.

The former Soviet countries couldn’t wait to join NATO as they knew what it felt like to be under Russian rule, and they didn’t like it one bit.

Can’t say that I blame them for that! I feel the same way as the same dark entity is doing the same things to us here with every demonrat and rino voted into political power over us. And that darkness, that entity cannot be allowed to win without a fight wherever it might be.

And poor Zelenskyy. He has to beg from one devil to help him with his nation’s fight for survival against the other devil. That’s gotta suck.

I do think Biden would have given Ukraine over to Putin, the same as Hillary and obama would have, but Ukraine must have something juicy enough on the oBiden crime family to have been given as much aid as they’ve been given so far.

Not enough to win against the Russians, of course, that would not make Putin happy, especially if he had been assured Ukraine was going to be his without much of a fight. Hey, a deal’s a deal, right?

But, it has been enough for Biden to say he’s helped and to also be able to blame the Republicans for him not giving Ukraine what they need to win against Putin. All too easy.

What’s not been easy is Ukraine. I don’t think anyone expected the Ukrainians to fight as tenaciously and as resourcefully as they have. You can ask the Black Sea fleet about that!

It’s a real fight to the death for Ukraine and I wonder what will happen when the next round of help shows up, including F-16s and what they will bring to the fight.

Today is the Sabbath day for many and I’m thinking about the spiritual side of this struggle. I’ve heard about generational blessings (and curses, too), where the blessings of the prayers of one generation are not always felt by that same generation, but are instead passed on like an inheritance to be received by a future generation.

If such things are true, then I have to wonder about the prayers said during the Holodomor, for example, and what blessings (or curses) might come from them during this deja vu all over again fight with Putin.

I believe that Putin explained it reasonably well in Carlson’s interview. Take Putin’s honesty with however much salt you need, as long as it’s not Polonium.

His explanation seemed to be that Russia had a completely open border with Ukraine - no passports, no customs, nothing. I never hear anything about where energy from Ukraine’s nuclear power plants went. There was large trade between the two. This would obviously change with a NATO Ukraine, especially since NATO has devolved into a simply anti-Russia alliance.

Putin’s LOOONG history lesson seemed to have a single point - the borders of present-day Ukraine mean NOTHING to him.

My take is that Russia will chop present-day Ukraine up. Ukraine will never join NATO, or there won’t be a big enough part to want. Hopefully, America’s Democrats and their alphabet agencies will have to pull out. Zelensky will retire to Switzerland in luxury.

My concern is for the nuclear industry of the former Ukraine. It would be nice for the Russians to pay for the maintenance of Chernobyl if they do not own it. I would prefer to see the other reactors deactivated and it would be nice if Russia paid for the continued storage of waste, if they don’t own the reactors out-right.
