Ukraine's military is shifting to a defensive strategy that failed Nazi Germany in WWII
Business Insider ^ | 2/17/24 | Michael Peck

In 1943, as the tide of war turned against the Third Reich, the German high command opted for a desperate strategy on the Eastern Front. Outnumbered and outgunned by the Red Army, the Germans pinned their hopes on a mobile, aggressive defense to stop a relentless series of Soviet offensives in Ukraine and southern Russia.

As today’s Ukraine fights over many of the same battlefields of 1943, it has chosen a strategy that echoes the German approach from 80 years ago. After the failure of its much-anticipated summer counteroffensive, and running low on ammunition and stamina to fight off continual Russian attacks, Ukrainian commanders talk of switching to an “active defense.” It hopes to block Russian advances while looking for opportunities to counterpunch and regain ground.

These plans were concerning sovereign Ukrainian territory, not Russia. If not for the Russian invasion there were have been no need for Ukraine to fight to regain its territory. Again, the blame is on Putin.

Well, when it comes to the massive pedo-scandal within Orbans elite establishment going on right now, here are two other sources (every news outlet of the planet is talking about it, except for communist news-outlets of course).

“This is the super-scandal that should bring down Viktor Orbán – and it’s far from over”
https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2024/feb/17/hungary-viktor-orban-scandal-president-resign

“Hungary faces political crisis as president resigns over backlash for pardon in sex abuse case”
https://www.foxnews.com/world/hungary-faces-political-crisis-president-resigns-backlash-pardon-sex-abuse-case

On another note:
I appreciate that you have nicknamed the Kremlinists as being “neocons” for their decision to invade and illegally annex parts of Ukraine.

“These plans were concerning sovereign Ukrainian territory, not Russia.”

Based on what? Secret plans you have? Would you mind posting them here?

All Russia saw was Ukraine quickly turning into a NATO country DESPITE claiming otherwise.

Anyway, the war will soon be over and perhaps, after getting SPANKED, the Neocons will finally be sent to the Trashbin of History, where they should have always been.

The Minsk Agreement allowed all of the pre 2022 borders to remain. The settlement that was being hammered in Istanbul before the West quashed it, used the Minsk Agreement for territorial questions. Have you read the Minsk Agreements?

The neocons aren’t going anywhere. They get us in one CF after another. They get us into Afghanistan which was an unmitigated 20 year catastrophe and simply walk away from it when it blows up. The same for Iraq, the same for Ukraine and I fear the same for Israel. One thing remains constant. The MIC oligarchs manipulating the puppet strings get more filthy rich with every new casualty report. They are lining up new profit bonanzas we haven’t even considered yet. They will soon find another sovereign nation to destroy for profit.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

You might not know this yet. But the President (which had to resign) and Prime minister Orban are part of the very same Government. They are close allies and collaborators - sharing the same policies and power together. Those two represent the head of the Orban “establishment”.

So yes, it IS a massive problem for Orban who has spent most of his time touting the high “family values” of his Government...

They’re just too effective at destroying Russian assets

Vlad doesn't care about how many casualties the Ukes inflict, he'll just send more conscripts, and who is going to complain if he bankrupts the russian economy?

Well, it looks like your math is a little off and your geography more so. 336,000 rounds a year.

Steel from Ohio made into shells in Pennsylvania, explosives from Virginia and Tennessee; assembled in Iowa.

They are looking at building a shell factory in Canada (because who doesn’t want their ammo supply under the control of a foreign socialist government) with final assembly in Kansas and Arkansas. They do talk about a facility to be built in suburban Dallas.

https://www.army.mil/article/271572/strengthened_army_industrial_base_doubles_artillery_production

I thought the Tennessee facility had been closed; surprised to see it still in business. I wonder if the planned Arkansas location is the place where they make all the hand grenades.

Even using your figures that supplies the Ukes with 60 days of artillery per year. Call the Ukes, tell them back to Avdiivka! We are building the plant to produce the munitions you’ll use to defeat Ivan’s terrible threat TODAY. Are you trying to write comedy or does it just turn out that way?

What is the Russian goal now?
——-
You ask now? You should have listened to Vlads speech on day one, very clear and concise. He will complete his three mentioned goals.

Of course, Western media never published his speech, …..

Here you go, 800,000 rounds just sitting around waiting for the Ukes to need them:

“According to the Czech President, the country’s representatives managed to find about 500,000 155-mm artillery shells and 300,000 122-mm shells abroad.”

“Here you go, 800,000 rounds just sitting around waiting for the Ukes to need them”
Tell that to the thousands of dead, wounded and captured Ukes in Avdiivka over the past two weeks. Why the rout? One primary reason was the lack of counter battery artillery munitions. Just sitting around while your supposed ally bleeds out. Bloody MIC stoogery at its most despicable.
