What do we expect from the Iron Curtain of Seattle? The Seattle population runs the entire state politically. Washington State has not had a Republican governor since John Spellman in 1985. Senator Patty Murray (Democrat) was elected in 1993 and Senator Maria Cantwell (Democrat) in 2001. Seattle voters vote straight ticket Democrat which tips the balance for the entire state.
A highly coordinated protest shut down the I-5 freeway in Seattle for five hours, causing a 6-mile backup. Justification came right out of the Critical Race Theory handbook.
