Nothing substantial that I can see. I think it was just that his history and former positions, added to his love for “Nathan” and “AD Willis”, provide cred for them. Dropping the big names. “Y’aaaaawl ... I am important. I know important people. Nathan and AD Willis are good. Y’aaaaawl.”
VIOLATION OF THE SUBPEONA
In my first bench trial, I had a lot of evidentiary objections during the testimony and the judge overruled every one of my objections. He then sustained every objection by opposing counsel.
I won the case. I learned early that when trying a case before a judge, if he sustains all your objections and grants every objection of your opponent, you better consider a settling the case before the ruling comes down.

It's WAAAY too early to tell. There's a lot that goes on behind the scenes. The very fact that Roy Barnes was called by the defense (for what reason, we don't yet know) tells us that the defense understands the swamp that it must navigate to get Fani disqualified.
Given Fani's arrogance, there may be a lot of animosity around the state and in Metro Atlanta for Fani.
Fani has already embarrassed the hell out of the DA office with the exposure of her affair with Wade and her vacations. And her testimony yesterday was intensely embarrassing for the judge.

Unless I am mistaken, Fani’s dad was called by the defense.
