He's up for election soon and if he disqualifies Fani, he'll need all the evidence he can get to support that action in the court of public/voter opinion.
As an aside, now that Fani is looking weak and there's blood in the water, it will be easier for Ashleigh Merchant to find witnesses to Fani and Wade's public displays of affection prior to 2023.
And what about repaying Wade in cash (and getting no signed or initialed receipt). As Wade said, there's no paper trail...NONE. And Fani needs a paper trail...or else it looks like she was letting Wade pay for all those vacays.

Judge was basically giving Fani an endless supply of rope to hang herself with. Intent was to ensure that there will be no grounds for appeal of his decision.
Which is why my take is that all this clown show will be is a nothingburger. Judge Engeron will do nothing to derail the case against Trump. He has been given his orders and will follow the script.

I saw about 30 seconds of an interaction among the prosecutor, the judge, and Big F. It was clear as day that that judge either (1) is very intimidated by Big F, or (2) has been given marching orders from Kemp to favor Fani. Any any case, I think it will end well for Fani and Nate.

The lady clearly sees herself as a gangster, above the law, and can engage in any activity she wants - no matter what the moral or ethical problems are associated.
I channel surfed after her testimony yesterday, checking out what the liberal media were saying, and CNN, MSNBC, ABC, I don’t remember who else were unanimous in condemning her; they all said she was pretty much toast.
Later on last night I checked back and they were all doing damage control, trying to excuse her witness stand antics.
Nothing will happen to her.
