ATLANTA, Georgia — Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis fought back against allegations about her personal life during a Thursday court hearing on whether she misrepresented her relationship with Nathan Wade, the prosecutor hired as lead lawyer in the Georgia election interference case against former President Donald Trump.
"You're confused. You think I'm on trial," Willis quipped to a defense attorney. "These people are on trial for trying to steal an election in 2020. I'm not on trial, no matter how hard you try to put me on trial."
An attorney for Willis made one last attempt to keep her off the stand this week, but after defense attorney Craig Gillen argued the case "cries out for her testimony."

Miss him alot, too. Soros might as well have bought AM radio, because after Rush’s passing there is no reason to use it
Wade was destroyed when he had sworn documents that documented perjury. He stated that he considered when his wife cheated on him that the marriage was over. In other words he became unmarried “for the children” in essence til they matriculated. Once they matriculated they could complete the divorce. He signed documents in his divorce proceedings that were fraudulent. He was nailed to the wall with those documents. He concealed his relationship with Fani by lying on the forms he filled out. Those documents had wording specifically spelled out to leave no doubt that his relationship with Fani were covered to where he should have answered a YES and he answered with a NO. In other words he committed perjury. He really nailed himself when he changed his answers to the same question over multiple forms.
Fani - Her PFDs… She committed fraud with those documents. She did receive in aggregate more than $100 from Wade by her own sworn testimony. A personal financial disclosure is something that is there for the exact reason of what we saw in the courtroom today. Except the PFD is designed that you do not DO anything that has the appearance of corruption. Fani is in a position where she doesn’t even know that receiving meals and anything of value constitutes “receiving” items of monetary value. Her ignorance of filling out those forms is grounds for her to be removed from office.
The judge should walk in the courtroom in the morning with his decision. Why let this carnival go on? They both committed perjury. Fani can write a book about her oppression and make a million or two.
“Personally I thought Trump could have found better attorneys for trying the case. Not one of them was impressive IMO. One had trouble keeping names straight and the female attorney seemed confused.”
They were not all his attorneys; I think only one was. The others were for the other defendants.
This judge seems very straight up, but I would not be surprised for him to soften removing the dashing duo from the RICO case because the “appearance” of a conflict of interest was established. He would thus sidestep having to rule that Wade and Willis were outright lying (many blacks would be triggered by that, even if they knew it was true) and that a massive conflict of interest existed amid a sea of corruption.
Or maybe he’ll treat them as the frauds they are and nuke them and the case they rode in on. Can’t wait.
>>>Not expecting good news, especially since the judge was originally appointed by NeverTrumper Kemp.
Just thank God that we had Rush to teach us all how to discern these Godless liberal cretins.
“Wade wasn’t a bad witness..”
He committed perjury within the first five minutes.
Democrats get the benefit of all doubt, President Trump gets no benefit of any doubt.

No, it's not a good idea that she's an attorney.
If she was a good attorney she never would have gotten herself in this mess in the first place.
“He’s going to side with her tomorrow …mark my words!”
I would not at all be surprised. He’s a Fulton County judge, up for re-election shortly; and she’s the Fulton County DA (and a black woman, to boot). He was covering for her on some of his decisions, as well.
Of course he will, there was never a doubt.
People need to wake up and realize that the game is totally rigged.
Who gives a flying F' about that media? Certainly nobody here does.
People aren't as stupid and dishonest as our G'D media.
She testified that she took the money from her campaign.
She might not have been on trial, but she was creating evidence for one.
When she walked to the stand it sure looked like she was carrying a load in her panties. Am I the only one who noticed this?
My guess is that the prosecution has copies of cancelled checks she has written. They wouldn’t be asking about checks unless they knew she had checks. Fani stated she doesn’t use checks. And doesn’t have any. I suppose if they can catch her lying under oath...she would be finished as an attorney.
Well, at least in a rational world..Either way, she comes off badly. Apparently starting her maneuver against Trump to get moolah for herself and get some for her honey who would give it back to her in the form of gifts, etc. Scam scum.
“Technically you are not on trial, yet, but you are under oath”.
Trump’s lawyers need to lean on the fact that a DA hires
a lead attorney in order to get an independent opinion.......
The two having a relationship means for sure she was not getting
the independent opinion she had taxpayers footing the bill for.
It certainly was!
I thought the judge was a pussy and have concluded he won’t rule against the uppity d.a.
