West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin is the epitome of the double-minded man. While the Democrat claims to be pro-life he is actively promoting abortions.
Machin announced yesterday that he has sponsored a bill to “codify Roe v. Wade.” However, the so-called Reproductive Freedom For All Act, actually implements abortions up to birth nationwide.
Naturally, Manchin didn’t mention that– he couched that radical agenda behind the term “codify Roe.” But since Roe v. Wade allowed abortions up to birth unless states passed legislation to protect babies from late term abortions, Roe essentially means abortions up to birth.
The bill actually would go beyond Roe by forcing states to legalize the killing of unborn babies in abortions for basically any reason up to birth. It would overturn pro-life laws states passed to protect women and babies from abortions.
Despite supporting unlimited abortions up to birth, Manchin still claims to be pro-life.
“While I will always consider myself pro-life, we cannot take away a woman’s basic right to make her own health care decisions,” he said in a statement about endorsing the bill.
The comment is disingenuous because ending the lives of unborn children is not health care and every state with an abortion ban allows legitimate health care for pregnant women such as miscarriage care and treating ectopic pregnancies.
With a nation full of crime, high prices, rising inflation and a bad economy, Democrats have very little to run on this presidential election. So more abortions is the pitch they keep pushing over and over again because it’s the only issue Joe Biden and pro-abortion Democrats have to rally their base.
But pro-life voters in West Virginia will be glad to be able to vote for a new senator this fall who better reflects their pro-life views.
Every woman in America has the right to choose. The only thing that has happened is some state shave made it illegal to kill babies in abortions. But there are plenty of choices to prevent getting pregnant and plenty of choices after getting pregnant. They’re just not the choices Democrats prefer.
Republicans should introduce, and pass a federal Civil Rights Bill for the Unborn that would extend full rights to the unborn from the moment of conception.
I can’t believe the people of WV keep voting for him. They seem to be pretty decent, down-to-earth people.

He’s not running for re-election. He got a plurality of the vote last time ... he knows his time has come to an end.

Sad to say but such a bill would pretty much guarantee a veto proof rat majority in both houses and would result in a national right to kill up until birth bill passing.
Anyone OK with this is a murderer. It is OK to kill a viable child?

Only one state but in my Michigan the Proposal 3 with constitutional guarantees of full abortion rights without interference brought out large numbers of highly energized and enthusiastic women and young men who got the proposal signatures in record time and then passed the proposal easily. Other states are using it as a template for wording their own.
I fear the destruction of GOP candidates’ chances when demagogues like Biden and Manchin appeal to the pro-abortion populace.
The next step clearly is the uncertainty of the definition of “birth”. They want a doctor or mid-wife to certify any birth. What they would like is for the woman to have up to 24 hours to determine whether it is indeed a child. That would allow a doctor to run tests before declaring a birth.
All executioners are pro-life. It is job security.
Correct, there is army of selfish single issue women who will turn out and vote whichever rat is on the ballot to guarantee the right to kill. The rats are getting these props on as many November ballots as they can. If the GOP wss willing to fight a political war they would get these props put on the primary ballots. In places like Mi the rats and their MSM allies are pushing the narrative “the Republicans will enact a national abortion ban if they get elected”.
Manchin is a snake and has always been. He was probably the one who whispered in Eve’s ear.
