Michael Haley’s civilian career is as an investor and security consultant. There was some ethical questions raised about a casino deal with the brother of Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) a couple years ago.

Reports were that he volunteered for the Djibouti deployment. Regardless, deploying mid-50s yo Guardsman halfway around the world is an indictment of American foreign policy.

2 Deployments in 18 years, and what he receives in return is much more than what he has put in. I believe he volunteered for both deployments, neither of which are that impressive. I see no indication that he is protecting this nation, as the massive invasion of her continues unabated.
