Patti Davis, daughter of former President Ronald Reagan, said he doesn’t think her father would be embraced by today’s Republican Party ― and that the feeling would be mutual.
“I don’t think he would... and I don’t see how he would want to be in it,” she told CNN’s Jim Acosta on Sunday. “It’s so diametrically opposed to what he believed and to the dignity that he felt that people in government should have.”
She mentioned Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-Okla.) trying to get into a physical fight with labor union leader Sean O’Brien in the middle of a Senate committee hearing last year.
“My father would be appalled at this,” she said. “This is not a bar. This is in the Senate chambers.”

Reagan did not have to deal with a dem party that is batsh*t crazy like today. He probably would have been impeached and wouldn’t have run for a second term. I loved Reagan but that was a different time and I’m not sure being polite and charming would have been enough of an insulation against today’s left.

She’s absolutely right! The same damned Uniparty (R) put a world record number of shivs in Reagan’s back. That was until the GOP broke that record with the backstabbing done to us through Trump’s back.

If Reagan were alive I have no doubt he would be standing tall for the U.S. Constitution and for reason.
I don’t think liberals claiming we need to print another 33 trillion dollars to solve inflation would confuse President Reagan.
There is still a need for patriotic Americans like presidents Reagan and Washington; now more than ever.

An emotionally damaged and unstable person crying out for help and attention. Since both parents were in show business, that’s probably where she fits in best, and she needs to promote the correct narrative if she wishes to be a member.
