Personally I am all for global warming and do everything I can to produce as much CO2 as I possibly can in an effort to stave off the Next ICE AGE, Which is GUARANTEED TO HAPPEN.

For everyone who hasn’t watched the video...basically they included the energy use of the running and construction (!) of the HOME in the urban garden. So of course it was more than just acreage that is only devoted to cultivation.
Disgusting the people who created the methodology for this study. Absolutely disgusting.

As you know, we live very ‘rural.’ Our nearest neighbor has a horse farm and she breeds and sells the most gorgeous horses you’d ever want to see.
When her old stud passed on after 30+ years (after a VERY lovely life!) they just composted him!
Shall I report them to the ‘Planet Authorities,’ Comrades? ;)
A local goat farmer that I know does the same with spent goats. Beau puts all raccoon, rabbit, coyote, etc. carcasses out on the far edge of our property for the Bald Eagles to enjoy. Circle of Life, Baby! We ALL end up as ‘compost’ when you think about it.
Who wants to pay the hundred to thousands of dollars they want for hauling off a carcass?
And why aren’t the Greenies picketing Crematories? Cremation is all the rage these days. That’s GOT to be putting something up into the atmosphere, wouldn’t ya think?
They’re using this as a trial balloon to see which low-hanging fruit they can harvest, first. Jerks.
The VERY FIRST thing one must do when reading these reports and studies is to determine WHO did the studies, what grants and contracts they already have (or anticipate), what are their particular political leanings and thrusts, and WHO paid for the particular study involved.
Academia is a bigger whore business than the world’s oldest profession.
I was in that business for over 30 years. Most times the desired outcome is implicitly expected as part of the grant, contract, etc.
We just found a dead raccoon in our woodshed. Called Fish and Game and they told us to just toss it out in the woods as far away from the house as we could.
Makes sense as animals die in the wild all the time and nobody is bothering burying them.
There’s a wonderful little book out that was written many years ago called *How to Lie with Statistics* and it covers all the bases about how *studies* are done to prove points and not prove anything.
It was required reading for one of my science classes and I’m glad I did it.
