Biden not making it to the 2024 election was written in stone years ago. The means and timing for getting rid of him are simply the product of day-to-day affairs and political trends.
This means nothing in the long run. Whether we even have an election is up in the air at this point.
A sober perspective. While I do believe we’ll be allowed to have an ‘election’, I also believe that we’re right at the point demographically and socially where a police state could be established to ‘save our democracy’ and enough people wouldn’t take up arms to destroy it. Incredibly, though, I can honestly say that I can see that being attempted. Thinking about it for a moment, though, it wouldn’t really be ‘establishing’ such a state— we have one already; it’d just be a shift/expansion of that state’s activities mixed in with a a few guns and an arrest every now and then to keep folks in line.
Mass simultaneous terrorist attacks from migrant cells could easily lead to martial law and cancel the election. The demented figurehead remains the default president.
I’m just articulating the worst-case scenario.
